I took a look at http://www.join4adollar.com, just to see when they would mention 'trial period' or 'upgrade'. I would have actually paid a dollar too, just to see if it was a scam, if there was no trial period or upgrade involved.
I didn't see either, but I neglected to pay anything.
Next thing I knew, I was paid in! I didn't see anything about 'pay it forward' either.
It seems to be one of those matrix ideas that upgrade you into another matrix that pays more once you cycle, then another, higher payout matrix, when you complete THAT matrix, etc.
I haven't had experience with this matrix idea, so I said 'what the heck'!
So far it's free, so I can't complain.
Wondering what WAHF folx think...

So I've looked over this program, and my one big question is...How in the world are they going to pay everyone? If they're letting you join for a buck, telling you that you can work your way up the ladder for free, where's the money coming from? My favorite saying is "if it looks to good to be true, it probably is" I'd like to hear from one person that's making any money at this, and how much out of pocket money they really had to spend.

I agree with skgroom... how the heck are they going to pay out if the join fee is $1?? seems real sketchy if you ask me :/

You can believe or not, but person who want start earn serious money will not join for 1$. People who are experimenting and joining everywhere will join.
I just got paid entry for free in the program, but I do not put efforts on promoting because 1$ to join ir is not good. 1$ shows bad quality.
Matrixes is good if you know how to market the type of business. It pays so powerful after your hard working 1-2 years or earlier.

The answer is simple: expensive program much more popular today in online business. Just think by yourself: "what friend will answer you if you would ask him: would you like do business with me for only 1$ ?"
By the way, I have posted one thread on another forum how newbie should choose which program to work, but I do not think there I an place to post the thread.

This might be a fun little matrix for Internet newbies who want to "get their feet wet" so to speak, and they might even earn a couple of bucks along the way, but I don't see where it offers much benefit to the serious long term marketer.

join 4 dollar is working quite long ago, but the offer do business for 1$ is not serious
How many members I should bring in there to earn minimum 50 - 100$ a day ?

Kinda what I was thinking when I signed up. I wasn't overly impressed with the plan, but, it was free! (For me anyway!)
It's good for a newbie to have something to promote that doesn't cost so damn much. Most newbies won't be so successful anyway!
And it's good to have a website with a number of inexpensive offers, as well as those 'serious' offers that really pay.
You can learn the online marketing game with inexpensive offers. And who can deny? Those inexpensive offers, some that actually DO pay money for nothing, are more likely to convert!
This can help a newbie build a responsive list as well, something highly valuable, despite the cost or 'seriousness' of the offer itself.

f5mtadas: How many members I should bring in there to earn minimum 50 - 100$ a day ? Yup $1 might sound like it may be worth it, but it will take way too many team members to create a good 3 figure monthly income let alone, a nice 4 figure monthly income that can give you some financial flexibility and freedom.
This reminds me of PTC, people clicking and reading emails for pennies and referring others to do the same and expecting to make some good money. Just noting going to happen.
Networking is a very powerful, if not hands down the best, home business income system because of the power of leverage, but all networking opportunities are just not structured for generating good monthly income, and essentially become a waste of time.

FreeCashMan: all networking opportunities are just not structured for generating good monthly income, and essentially become a waste of time. Even opps that don't make a lot of money, help build your list, and experience marketing.
A list and experience are hardly what I'd call a waste of time.
Many 'big earners' are MLM/matrix/pyramid plans which are big earners for those at the MLM/Pyramid top, but dead ends for those at the pyramid bottom. There's just no escaping the ugly reality of pyramid/mlm/matrix plans. GEOMETRIC EXPANSION!
This inherent GE causes these ideas to crash or stall leaving those at the bottom with little hope of making substantial earnings. Those at the top of the pyramids always blame those at the bottom for 'not trying hard enough', being a 'quitter', looking for a quick buck, etc.
The reality though is market saturation which can destroy any real hope of making money regardless of the biz structure.
In pyramid,/MLM and similar structures, this happens EXTREMELY quickly, due to the rapid expansion of the pyramid bottom - no income land!
Starting with something cheap, and learning the ropes is not a bad career move, whatever your business venture.

The way I see it is like TJam. I promote free or I pay for someone to upgrade in J4AD and develop a relationship with them. Cost them nothing and we start the trust process.
In the long run our relationship goes way beyond "you will never make money in this program" because once they understand how it works we get a bigger boat and go after bigger fish.
For me it is not about how much money I can make today but how many people I can help learn and develop their business sense.

I would definitely caution against going after 'big fish' until you have learned to successfully reel in smaller game.
But if you have lots of time and money you won't regret losing, that's another matter!

TJamMoneyMan I joined the join4adollar program-they need to do alot of work with the system, if it stand as a chance to succeed.
First of all Alertpay won't let you pay just $1, so it is a mojor pain to even get involved. They have not made it possible to transfer money from your e-wallet in one program, to another one. I moved to the second program, but had to pay my way in & there is money sitting in e-wallet in the first program.
If the system is complicated, people will not stay with it.

Interesting,
Having researched hundreds of similar deals, no doubt, one thing that works well is free to join, or low cost as in this dollar deal, but without free and easy, few will succeed is what I learned. I have the same issue, if I cannot use credit card or debit card, I usually won't bother, and that is how many look at these deals which use Alertpay or others which are a pain to set up and get verified.
Any long term successful program has to be seamless to register and easy to promote with a free position or low cost to even have a chance of helping you build your list, so I use several of these deals to do just that. If they happen to earn enough to justify the up sell most have built into their plans. I believe this is the approach that works best in this recession, no risk, no monthly obligation of autoship, you have to start off by giving people true value if you ever hope to build a long term business.
Success to all,
