Have a ques.

When selling a vacation pkg (see below)

4 Days/3 Nights Hilton Head, SC Vacation - Customer pays only $110.00 per Adult plus per night resort taxes of $10.00-$13.00 in Hilton Head. Receive a Guaranteed Airfare Gift Coupon with this package.
Retail Value: $520.00 PK Code: P3HA

Does a FT representative charge the $110 plus taxes,
or does the FT Rep name their own price to sell this pkg for example $100 on top of all the fees?
And what does the FT Rep receive when the person activates the vacation pkg?

And as to the certs and vouchers, the FT Rep can charge whatever they want to sell the certs and vouchers? For example $500 for 100 certs?
What does the FT Rep receive when the certs/vouchers are activated?

If a rep gets a commission when the certs are activated are you than considered a seller of travel?

Terri

Hey Terri,

The best way to get all the details is to come on a live FTV call and get the info directly from the source. There are two reasons behind it in my opinion. Rusty, Dana and Glen handle all the vacations and are the best source of information and secondly it teaches you team to do the same. It teaches them how to use the system as it was designed. Imagine having a team of about 70 people calling you each day to learn how to market an individual certificate. You wouldn't have time to do anything else.

But to answer your question simply here it goes. The prices you see on the website reflect the customer cost after they have purchased a certificate from the distributor. As independent contractors in business you can market the certs for whatever you see fit. This is a great scenario. As the market changes you can always be competitive. That is the beauty of this program.

The live calls are on Tuesday and Thursday nights @ 9 pm EST. The number is 319 741 8000 pin code 1025286#. I'd love to see you there as my special guest and would invite you to call me directly or one of my teammates to get you started as well as sit down and map out a game plan to see if FTV is the right business option for you. You can contact most of us via the info on our signature lines or by just IMing us personally. Hope to see you on the call.

The Autoresponder is still working although the optins have gone from the initial 30 a day, for the 1st 2 days since the system started working then have falled down to 5 a day. Others may be seeing different results but our group this is the average. It is also worth mentioning that if you changed your messages check them. We changed ours to something specific to Coastal (WCYS) and they have been changed back by management (with no warning or notice). Apparantly management wants to make these changes themselves so send your changes directly into FTV..

Today upon speaking with Rusty Dillon the owner at FTV he relayed to me in an email correspondence that because of the issues that have occured with FTV over the last few months they will not be billing their distributors this month as a good faith measure. I have not gotten any official notification yet and am looking for that asap. I do have questions as to whether they will still be paying commissions to us for our downlines or not so I cant wait for official word to to see what the whole story is. AGAIN THIS IS NOT OFFICIAL AS OF YET BECAUSE NO NOTIFICATIONS HAVE COME OUT.

I have always stated that when FTV is running correctly it is a great program. I was one of the most vocal advocates in getting people to join. But I do have to say that as it hasnt been working recently I have also been one of the biggest voices on letting that be known as well. It hasnt been mean or bad mouthing just telling the facts, which is what this forum is about. We have many entrepreneurs looking for the real deal on any business opportunity and its great we have so many people from so many walks of life looking to share.

I will say some progress albiet slow has been made. In the last 3 days my a/r had produced a little over 15 leads. Some have been good response and some just wanted to be removed. So im glad that things are turning around but in the past 2 months I lost about half of my downline because of the problems and the ones that stayed wouldnt promote the program until its fixed. This has been my biggest issue. Im paying for something that doesnt work and losing people and not gaining. That is a recipe for disaster in any business. I look forward to things being fixed and moving back to how they were when we started.

Also some rumor has been started as because of the way I have been vocal about the problems Im either quitting or getting kicked out of FTV. Ill state it for the record I AM NOT QUITTING and Rusty hasnt addressed me directly in reference to kicking me out. I know he reads this so he can probably squelch the rumor of me being kicked out on here personally.

I look forward to things getting back to normal at FTV. They had a great call on thursday night where their new programmer came on and explained alot about new a/r program. That is all we have been looking for from FTV and we all appreciate them taking that step to reassure their member that they are working to fix this.

Well hello Fun Time Vacation Club People! I just joined this work from home forum today, but I've been reading it for about 2 weeks now. Starting from June 12th to now, reading all of it, boy how I can relate to so much of it since signing up as a Super Elite in May.

Fun Time is a great well-rounded business with lots of value and we had a great oportunity to promote 3 months ago. Now we have an even better opportunity to promote 3 months later. However those 3 months of growing pains inbetween, yea they hurt, yea they don't go away (unless handled well), and yea they cause tension, gossiping, grief, bad-mouthing, and now just plain old "child's play non-sense"

Here's what I know.
1. We've been told we would receive 3 condo cards for our trouble. Status: Service Completed.
2. We've been told we would receive 1/2 off our new contact management system. Status: Still Waiting.
3. We've been told we would receive 10,000 free leads. Status: Still Waiting.
4. Just recently Glenn has said he was doubling up for us in Sept. Status: We wait to see. (but now does this cancel out #3?)
5. Now we're told our service will be free ONLY if our AR is not up and working. Status: That's great for Fun Time, because they just told us this week they were 95% up and running. So looks like they won't need to do that. (but what ever happened to #2?)
6. We've been told we would receive vouchers now at no cost. Status: Service Completed. (that in itself is great benefit to all, but what happened to #2?)

I would like to quote Dana's e-mail that Adam talks about above: "We want to assure you that you will not be billed in September until your total systems are up and running. Anyone that is a super elite will stay a super elite at no charge until their A/R is up and running."

Also the last time I checked our website, we offer a dual compensation plan where we can market this as JUST a leads program at the same price of $299 that we pay for the entire vacation club benefits. So technically speaking the $299 a month that we all paid for July and August was a funtime donation, cause I believe not many of us (if any of us) received any leads. So what I gather out of this is our A/R IS $299 a month and really all we "pay" for, the rest is free of charge.

So basically what I'm saying to our people at funtime is in the future, just do it, admit it, and move on. First fix what's broke or not being served, then move on to more. Fun Time IS a great well-rounded business, that is when all parts are up and running smoothly like they were 3 months ago. So rather than trying to grow so quick and doing more than you can handle at one time, get to where we were 3 months ago, THEN move forward to things like the ultimate phone system, new travel program, unlimited vouchers, etc.

This is why we are where we are today: Moving too fast has caused your growing pains which have turned into grief, tension, bad-mouthing, and now (as it shows) just plain old "child's play non-sense."

Business opportunities come and go. It's always about how you do business ive always been taught. You get paid a good wage for an honest days pay. The internet has changed the time frames it takes to make money but some things dont and should never change. You will make more money offering a good service to clients even if you have to lower your price. Its a proven fact people will pay more for good service so you have to know they will pay for your service if it cost less. Give good service is the way I see it.

When I looked at FTV I saw an incredible marketing opportunity and still do. In theory it's the best program out there. Good product to market ( travel), good prices ( I can best everyone by giving out vacations for free and still making a commission), low start-up and high profit margins. Sounds like a winner . Take that to any investment firm and im sure they would love the model. But unfortunate in my case everything didnt go as planned.

I could go on for the next 3 hours on issues ive had but that doesnt do anything positive for me. I made good money with FTV even when I wasnt getting all I had paid for. Even as many leave ( though FTV does have newer programs that are bringing new members in) there is still opportunity there.

I not here to thrash or throw daggers at any organization just to say that FTV has not lived up to the hype to me. Im not happy with all of its business affairs and wouldnt recommend it to anyone. That is what this forum is about. Giving food for thought on business opportunities.

In my opinion FTV looks like a diamond but falls very far short and is not what id bet the farm on.
