I have facebook and it's great. I've connected with a lot of old friends I haven't seen in a long time.

26 Oct 2007 01:34 - Attached on merging:
Facebook

As Facebook is again in the news....

I know social networking sites are useful for marketing but will they become the major place for marketing in the future?

I have been reading a few articles which sugest 'traditional' websites will become less popular for marketing as facebook, myspace, squidoo etc are now so user friendly?

If so... maybe we should take more notice of them?

I have a few squidoo lenses and one blog useful for backlinks I have been told.. but dont want to expend too much energy on them.. as discussed in other threads squidoo etc maybe useful as a tool to help main websites but perhaps not as a means to generate large revenue?

What do you think?

I feel facebook and other social networking websites are fads.
