I am an inactive Edcgold member and i have been getting emails again from Mike and Craig about the Diamond program.I guess they must have saturated the market and decided to come up with something new again.It is just a shame that the rest of us in Edc can't compete with the marketing $$$ of Mike,Craig and Dave.

I have to respectfully disagree with that statement. The internet is a vast marketplace for any type of business, and if you check statistics, you will find that there are still hundreds of thousands of people who search for "home based businesses" or something along those lines every single day. With that being said, the market is NOT saturated. There are people in EDC who make tons of money off of FREE advertising(I use free methods as well). I would suggest searching the forums to find new ways of promoting your website, instead of putting the blame on the top earners. I don't forsee the market being saturated any time soon, or in the future. New people get on the internet everyday, and someone wakes up everyday thinking "I'm sick of working for someone, I'd rather work from home". Best of luck to you my friend!

agreed S100,, top sales are in anything,, if you sell cars there are always top salesmen and then there are those that stand around complaining.
I have a hunting buddy that sells carpet,, he makes 300k a year..
takes a couple months off for hunting and vacation. He likes making the sale person to person, and I have tried to talk him into making an ebook on Closing the Deal.. maybe one day,, I got off topic here...
You must work at it to make it..

I would not pay any money to get started with any online money making scheme. There are too many dishonest people out there trying to scam you out of your money.
Anyone with the slightest street smarts can start a profitable online business with just a few hundred dollars. I have build my online marketing company from just taking online surveys for a year and plugging every cent I earned into my company. Now we are finally rocking and rolling promoting survey companies, work at home opportunities, get paid to sites, and so many others.
Just be smart before you start giving your money away to complete strangers.

Boy I guess I brought Edc back to life in this forum with my post seeing as there had not been a post since Oct.24.All I am saying is that we as members should not have to compete with the owners of the company.Do they not make enough from the marketing systems that we as members pay for.Think about it,seeing as you brought up the top salesman comment,do the owners of car dealerships get out on the sales floor and take the commisions from their sales people.Absolutely not because they make plenty from their profit margins.

Great Point Mike,
I met Craig Garcia at an event. I called him a few weeks after we met to find out what it was that he marketed. One of the comments he made was that he made his money selling the systems. Don't know what changed. I see that some of his former top income earners quit and went to another program.

Mike,
They no longer market the program... if you see their site out there,
it's being used to generate leads for EDC members who participate
in the company co-op.

We all appreciate your input, but you have to remember that in most cases it takes money to make money. For example, when is the last time you heard of someone opening a brick and mortar business, with out investing a dime? On top of that, show me someone who has made a pennys profit without investing anything! The point here is that although there are ways to start an online business without inversting anything, the average Joe who has never tried business on the internet has no clue on how to effectively do so. To a person reading this forum who is new to this business, that statement makes a huge impact, and can cause alot of people to miss out on an excellent opportunity. If you read this entire post, it is filled with actual people who actually make money through EDC, regularly at that, and who have had no problems or regrets with paying the initial amount. Why? Because they paid for a system and products that they know work, and on top of that, someone to walk with them throughout the process. I can agree with what you said about being smart, I agree 110%, because you are paying for the training in the costs, and certainly don't want to throw your money away. If you read back a couple of pages, we can definately gather that anyone joining this business needs to talk to their potential sponsor, and to feel comfortable with them before paying anything. With that being said, this would not meant as a direct response to you, it was meant to clear up what you said, because if I was reading this forum and was trying to decide whether or not I wanted to sign up, your post would have stuckout to me like a big red thumb, and I may have missed out on an excellent opportunity because of it. That's true, Craig and Mike no longer market EDC for themselves. I think they're great guys who provide us tons of awesome training. I wouldn't be mad at them if you didn't make any money, they're 2 people, the internet has TONS of people looking for what we have to offer. Just have to be consistent and advertise, followup and repeat. It can be done no matter who else is marketing the same program.
I have to agree with both of your post Success100!
I'm just very excited at the FREE upgrades while in pre-launch. It's awesome!

I too, have to disagree. We as EDC members aren't competing with those guys at all. First off, Mike and Craig aren't personally sponsoring members themselves. Their websites that you see in the sponsored links and so on are designed to handle the ad rotator. So each time someone fills in the lead capture form, they're taken to a different member's EDC site (the members that have bought into the rotator program). If you don't believe it, you should check it out yourself. I've tested it several times in order to answer questions for others.
The way I like to look at this business is that I'm not competing with Dave Dubbs or anyone else. My biggest and worst competition is myself. It's up to me to do the work that will bring results. No one else dictates that. So if I slack off, I don't earn. That's my fault. Sure others have a ton of money to promote on Google Adwords and that helps them a ton. They have their methods, and I have mine. I still get more than enough business for myself. The market for folks looking to become their own bosses is HUGE. There is no possible way that 1, 2, 3 or even 10 people could take up all the business there is.
When considering home business, we should all be careful not to think or speak in ways that are mentally limiting. We all know good and well that there are billions of people in this world. Some are coming online for the first time, some are investigating home business for the first time, and some are looking for a change from whatever programs they've been involved with in the past. This number doesn't dwindle or stay the same, it grows exponentially over time, because the population of the world grows exponentially. When the population stops growing, then worry about markets being saturated!
As for EDC, I think it's been proven time and again that if you put forth the effort, get creative and brand yourself, you can see success. If you don't, then it doesn't work. Simple as that. I've been in since Feb. of this year and still going strong. And as EDC grows and changes, so do my advertising methods and the perks I give to my own customers and team members. It's a business in an ever-changing and highly competitive market. You have to be willing to grow, change and compete with it!

-To inject something positive into this thread (because it seems this thread is full of negativity), I'm glad there is a place like this where we can come to some type of meeting grounds to help others as well as ourselves with misconceptions, questions, and tips about EDC. I don't know of too many opps where you can call the owners and chat...
I called Craig yesterday and we small talked a little then we got down to business.. He was a great help to me and my questions were answered..
People who are successful WORK,, you don't think Dubbs works????? You cannot be successful if you don't. Sure you could win the lotto but then You are not successful, just lucky,, and luck does not last.......
The money I make with EDC comes from work... not hope..

Again it is great that Mike and Craig are no longer recruiting and I will definitely have to take another look at getting going again.What is the cost of getting in on the rotator and is it available in Canada now,as I know it was not originally available to us north of the border.

Bigrich....I agree where else can you phone the owners and talk to them so freely. I called Craig last night to clarify a few things, he's so helpful and nice. Before I joined EDC, I called and spoke to him as well. He answered all my questions without being pushy, which is like a breath of fresh air!
