I have to ask you about these data entry companies that say that I'll earn a lot of money for filling the online forms for other companies. I'm and IT professional from Serbia. I know that a lot of those are scam, but I've searched hard and done some research and here are a few of them that I filtered and I think are valid and that offer what they say:
http://www.workathomedigest.com (money back guarantee) http://dataentry.inetaffiliatemarketing.com (money back guarantee) http://www.dataentryportal.com (double money back guarantee) http://www.dataentrymadeeasy.com (money back guarantee) http://www.inetdataentry.com (no money back guarantee)
So, as you see, most of them offer money back guarantee, one of them even double money back guarantee. Did anyone had any experience with these ? Please, I don't want you which didn't even tried them to answer me and say that those are scam. I mean, whay should I worry if I can get my money back if I'm not satisfied ? Those five companies look okay to me. What do you think ? In two days I'll be renewing my expired credit card and I'll try one of those out. But I would really appreciate if anybody with prior experience concerning those I listed could give me some advices. I'm suspicious about making $500 daily with just an hour of work as they say, but all I need is at least 250$ a week. Is it possible with this kind of job. I'm ready to work 5 hours a day, every day. If you know another data entry companies wich you have had a positive experience with, please post their URL here.
Thank You a lot for your answers, they mean so much to me !

There are a lot of companies that offer money back "guarantees", but many of them just ignore you when you make your refund request. No one is going to pay you large amounts of money to type data into a computer - data entry is a get rich quick scam, regardless of how persuasive the sales pages are.

Most data entry "jobs" are Clickbank affiliates, you will earn more by freelancing

But this one http://dataentry.inetaffiliatemarketing.com says that they have their own program and a way to type the data. I know that a lot of them are affilates of ClickBank, but my country Serbia is not supported by ClickBank, there si no Serbia to choose from the list of countries there. And this data entry firm says that Serbia is supported. I even sent them an e-mail to encourage me, and they answered me, explaining me some of the stuff. They told me that if I'm not satisfied I can get my money back, but that I should give it a try. I've found some positive thinkings on Google about this firm which URL I gave above. I dunno...I think I'll give it a try tomorrow. I don't want to get rich, I just need fucking 250$ to buy me something I want for quite a while ! I'm ready to dedicate whole myselft to this, and I'm expecting at least 100$ per week. I guess it's possible. And I don't have more than 50$ to invest in any other job. That kind of money is not small here in Serbia (sadly). Thank you for your answers. I would like to see more people sending their oppinions here. Thank You !

If you really really really want to, you can pay to join the data entry site. I predict two things will happen:
1. You will get ripped off.
2. You won't get your money back when you ask
The choice is yours...who knows, we might be wrong, but I doubt it.

Quoting: Voyager They told me that if I'm not satisfied I can get my money back, but that I should give it a try.
Sounds like you are very desperate to make money quickly, so the $ amount they promise you will be making is very tempting. Well, they just sweetalked you into joining them!
I can only suggest to stay away from these kind of offers. If you believe the advise you get from members in this forum is meaningless, then go ahead and give it a try.
Find some FREE Survey Companies, there are plenty out there.

I'll listen to your advice, of course. I now see the point. I made more research too. Oh no, Surveys don't work well for me, I've subscribed to a few most famous ones like CashCrate, Clear Voice Surveys, etc.. but there are only a few surveys in one month for my country Serbia. Heh. That's it. But yer right, I'm desperate to find an online job and use my IT professional skill the best way I can, any job, as long as it is valid and pays okay. But I'm in a total chaos. I'll figure out something. I'd like to hear about some legitimate online jobs available for the residents of the whole world, including Serbia. I'd work every working day, 7 hours if it's needed a day. But I still didn't find anything that suits me. Keep in touch ppl !

If you are in IT work, you may want to check out Scriptlance.com. You can find listings for people who need help with technical work, so maybe you can find a project there.

Voyager, You're right about survey's and things of that nature. If you aren't in particular countries it is harder to get anything worthwhile. I suspect that may be part of the package on offer from most of these companies. I tried a couple myself when I was starting out (but not the ones you have listed), and they turned out to be pretty useless. Fortunately, I did get my money back. It helps when you pay with paypal or order through clickbank.
Perhaps you will be better off using your IT experience to build your own business. Surely there is something you are knowledgeable about or have an interest in that you could build a web site about and monetize it through advertising, affiliate links, or even offer your IT services to those less experienced. Yes, it takes a lot of set up time to get your site up and running and established, but it sounds like you have time to put into it.
The great thing about this type of thing is that you eventually develop a business that runs 24/7 that will only require minimal maintenance. You won't see $250 a week immediately, most likely, but you will build up to it and perhaps more depending on your site topic, and other variables.
Anyway, thought it was something to throw out there for you to consider.

I would stay away from the data entry jobs that ask you to pay a fee. You could spend your time/money on something far more lucrative than this. I just wouldn't waste my time or money. Good luck to you!

In my experience, the best online jobs are found at oDesk.com.
All kinds of jobs are there and payment is guaranteed by the site's escrow system.
You may use their search fields to find the appropriate job for you. For instance, you may type "data entry" into the field to find the love requirements for that kind of job.
The IT jobs, in my opinion, gets the most pay.
I was lucky enough to get $40/page writing assignments, though..
