Hiya

has anyone heard of this? I just came across it in Google.

I'm in the UK so not sure if it would be any good for me anyway.

Thanks

Honestly, I hate when I see affiliate marketers post stuff on Craigslist, because it is often very spammy, deceptive advertising that people on Craigslist have to sort through to get something of real value.

Thanks getagrip. I'm not familiar with Craigslist so wasn't sure whether or not it was any good, especially as I'm English and it seemed a very American site.

The part of it I found was where you look for 'wanted' ads then (with the software that costs $97) you can sent an automated email to the person 'wanting', including a link which they click on. This will either be to an Ebay or Amazon page, depending on which one you want to market first. If/when the person buys from someone in the link, you get paid a commission.

I know links aren't allowed so if you want to see, go to Google and type in ebay affiliate (I was looking at this type of opportunity) and it should be one of the paid ads in pink either on the top or on the sidebar. It'll say craigslistoptimizer.

Thanks again.

Here is what Craigslist has to say about their rules regarding affiliates:

"You agree not to post, email, or otherwise make available Content:"

k) that constitutes or contains "affiliate marketing," "link referral code," "junk mail," "spam," "chain letters," "pyramid schemes," or unsolicited commercial advertisement"

You can read their other terms of use at:

I also saw this on another site, even if you do get an ad posted, amazon affiliates only pay3-4%, which is next to nothing unless you have high priced items

I would stay away. Craigslist is very clear about the topic. MOIS had discussed it as a potential tool in some of its previous training materials, but I think that they have even removed it now. When there are so many other ways to generate online income the safe and free way, I personally wouldn't take the risk and constantly at risk of losing all the work that you put toward the venture.

Unless you can change your IP address, have access to numerous email accounts, this software will not allow you to keep emailing wanted ads. Craigslist is very particular about how many emails you can respond to and it depends on a variety of factors (IP address, email address, etc).

Maybe the seller should mention these things on the product page!
