This seems to be a good product, but customer service is lacking.
I am not fond of the FLOWPLAYER vid as the sales page - no way to FF or RW, or know how long till the vid ends.
Vids are ok as an additional, but nothing beats a sales page you can actually READ (and scroll)!
OTHERWISE, I heard a lot of good things about it.
Some bad too - it's just been launched so as a work in progress there are issues to deal with.
Some people have had problems getting things setup - automatically, but the setup went fine for me, the only problem being lack of customer support when problems arose - some things I just didn't understand when viewing the training vids, but once I was able to figure things out, automation worked quite well.
I will say, they have been adding features and ready made websites which no doubt negatively impacts their ability to do decent customer service, but they seem to get to people's questions in about 2 days, so far.
Plus CI members who can, are helping those who are having problems.

You know, I have no idea how to load the fuel PHP into my WP site? I saw a video using an FTP lient, but I am sure there is another way for those of us that don't use FTP?! Any help is appreciated and CI needs to have step by step TEXT instructions also.

A lot of the time, a video sells much better then just text. I see a lot of companies do it now online. They add a lot of videos and much less text.
Plus it may increase their conversions which is always good.

timmyster: You know, I have no idea how to load the fuel PHP into my WP site? I had the same problem until I got to video #6. That vid explains the entire process. No FTP whatsoever.
It's really quite easy! This is one of those vids that uses music only, no supporting voiceover - it really is that simple.
Just follow that vid, and let me know if you are still having a problem...

talfighel: They add a lot of videos and much less text. Have you even taken the time to visit the commissionignition.com site before making this comment? There is NO text whatsoever!
Even the 'buy now' button doesn't appear until the video has played through!
Video PLUS text is good. But FLOWPLAYER video is the absolute WORST type of video - no FF, RW or indication of time at all. You have no idea how long the vid will be - I have heard about some FP videos that are ONE HOUR LONG!
I normally disregard a site if there is FP video on it, but because of the recommendations, I looked further into commission ignition.

timmyster: I have no idea how to load the fuel PHP into my WP site? You also have to first download the "fuel" to your computer.

I too am frustrated with the help/comments. It is too hard to keep track and even find what I posted.
Few observations. I got a site up. I wanted to do a good job making it mine so it took about 3 hours but that was mostly content tweaking.
I have a couple of questions so I will try here.
#1 The instructions were lacking but I figured out how to install the autoblogs on the subdomain. I also figured out how to install to the same DB as well. What I am not getting is guidance on how many of these and what naming convention. Is one named blog.blah.com sufficient. Should we have 5 0r 10 or 20. Do we do anything with these expect configure and let them run (and have a link to the main site)
#2 Are the autoblogs considered separate sites by Google because they are on a subdomain (for indexing, backlinks, etc.). Do links to the autoblog equal links to the main domain? Any chance the main site will be penalized for the autoblogs? This all murky for me.
#3 I have gotten the UAW to work. It will take some testing to see how broad of subject matter is covered. On my test I put in chicken coops and nothing came back but Acne got lots of articles. However this is not really unique content. It appears to be assembled by using reusable paragraphs. For instance on one article I got 110 exact matches on the first paragraphs. Is this unique enough to do what it supposed to do?
#4 For the social piece, I more or less got that to work. It uses a free download as a hook. I did not see anything like a free ebook or download code to use. Did I miss something or this left to us?
#5 Do I need to signup to facebook and twitter every time or can I reuse the application codes. If so I guess I should try to be as generic as possible.
Overall I would say I don't think the product was ready for release. Just too many holes. In my opinion I think the website building and configuration is only marginally better then building from scratch. Hopefully this is some good niche research but my guess is it will get overcrowded quickly now.
The real test is whether the plugins work. The UAW and the social plugin. If they really help drive traffic then it will be worth the $$ and can be applied to my own sites and niches.
BTW I did enjoy some of the non-related videos while I was waiting for some of the product instruction videos to be posted. I would also appreciate a PDF manual so i don't have to go back and pause videos over and over.

Boy! That's a LOT of "a couple of questions"!
Wish I could help, but...
The main problem is they need decent Customer Support.

netprospector: The real test is whether the plugins work. The UAW and the social plugin. If they really help drive traffic then it will be worth the $$ and can be applied to my own sites and niches. I will say that ALL of these things 'work'. You have to do things correctly, which it seems a lot of people are missing. You have to input the correct data, in the right location for the software to 'work'. But it does work, at least it worked for me.
Some things are explained adequately, some things NOT. THAT is the real issue for me. Good training tools and decent customer support.
As to whether or not the traffic plug-ins 'work'. Well, yes that remains to be seen, for some. You need to come up with your own gift/free download, which I didn't realize. This is understandable but this would be a major factor in whether or not the plug-ins REALLY work - that is, getting you the traffic you need.
But ultimately it's not even about traffic. Traffic is essential, yes. However, the only salient issue is whether or not you get SALES!

Not familiar enough with either to make that comparison.
BUT you can accurately describe CI as an automatic website builder, keyword tool, and auto blog. WITH their unique concept of driving (igniting) traffic.
They readily admit that the web builder, keyword tool and auto blog are nothing new. They claim their way of driving traffic is the uniqueness of CI.
Even without the traffic driving strategy, the price of CI is worth the auto features and key word tools.
And it can be had for $37 so don't pay $47, unless you really WANT to!
