Ok so after spending an hour reading posts on this board...here's my story. I've been out of work for over a year now. In the area I live in there are no jobs that meet the qualifications and skill sets that I have. I have gone through the initial testing process that you would normally go through in a company of this type. My telephone interview is scheduled for tomorrow at 730 pm my time. (I'm on the west coast) I can say that in my dealing with them so far, they have been ok. I have read the neg posts as well as the positive ones. I am wondering if the neg posters justs didnt cut it for the company for whatever reason, and they were subsequently let go. It sucks for those who have had bad interactions with them. I will let everyone know how my interview goes. If anyone knows of anymore real opportunities...please feel free to message me.

Thanks!!!

Hello everyone. Can anyone tell me about the COmcast position? What exactly will you be doing? Is it a permenant or temporary position? How long does the training take? Do you get paid for training? Do I have to have a land line? I know the interview has to be done on the phone but can I use my cell phone to do the interview? Once hired, do I need a land line or are all calls routed through the computer? Thanks so much for any help.

I dont have any of those answers for you. But evidently I wasnt what they were looking for because my interview lasted 10 minutes and I did not recieve a call back. That sucks! I hope you get hired though.

The project for comcast as a cable tech is permanent.
Training lasts about 3 weeks and you get paid an agreed upon sum after completing a test at the end.
All calls are routed through your computer via Avaya so no land line is used.

Can you tell me who I need to email at Cloud10 to receive any kind of answer from them. I am trying to find out my application status or when i might be contacted for the Comcast job. I was emailed and told training was going to start and I needed to update my computer. I did all of that and now I have not heard anything. I have emailed every email address I can find and I never get anything back. Do they ever answer emails and if so how long does it normally take? Thanks to anyone that can help.

I was on the ill-fated DTV project and got quickly hired for another long-term project in March. I started in April and have been here ever since on the Internet troubleshooting side. I absolutely love it, my checks have always been accurate, there's good communication between me and my Team Lead, and they have really worked with me on my schedule. So far, I am very very pleased with the company.

I did my application on Monday Nov. 9, 2009 and today Nov. 12 I had my interview and was hired to work for the company. I check my email pretty frequent so my process went fast pace. The PC Pitstop was great...it showed what changed i needed to make and once i was done... ran it again until all the check marks were green. Once I fixed all the red x's...then I sent the link to cloud10corp. The testing takes about 45 minutes...It takes mostly common sense and concentration.
EMAIL PROCESS
-STEP 1 You will get a thank you for applying,

-then step2 the testing,

-step 3 www.pcpitstop.com (48 hours to do this part)... make the upgrades now before you apply it will save you time,

-step4 thanks for doing pit stop

-step5 appointment confirmation

-step 6 interview

-step 7 if hired they will put you on hold status..they will send emails with job openings so that you can choose what would be right for you...YOU HAVE TO COMMIT TO THE SET SCHEDULE YOU CHOOSE OR ELSE!!!!! THIS COMPANY IS NOT A SCAM!!!!

I have worked for Cloud10 now for more almost a year. It's a great company and was just taken over by Transcom International, a huge company from Europe with more then 27,000 employees.

They believe that Cloud10 has the best AHP (At Home Professional) model that exists in today's marketplace and intend to take the model to Europe.

BTW, I should have left the link.

http://www.cloud10corp.com

They do everything at first via email. Once you get hired, you have all the phone numbers and contact info you'll ever need. They try to keep it private and handle it with email and voicemail due to the sheer volume of people looking for work.

Hi..I have just finished my application for Cloud 10. I was reading pilgrim pilgrim's post on 12 Nov 2009 12:59..you mentioned -step 3 www.pcpitstop.com (48 hours to do this part)... make the upgrades now before you apply it will save you time. Are you saying to do it now or wait unti I recieve an email verifying they recieved my appilication?

Aso, to workfromhomepop, are there any incentives recieved if you sell? I noticed on the appication, there is a question as to, " What are your minimum hourly pay requirements." I know I am worth more than,
8.00 to 11.00 per hr. but I'm not sure if I should high light it or highlight to higher wage, 12.00 or above. What did you do, if I may ask. Also, can you actually make money and....hmmmm, soooo many questions!

There is very little selling and no there is no commission or incentive pay. All the selling is mainly upgrading services and is self generated. They pay a training salary, usually 650 dollars (but it is project specific) and the wage after 6 days (includes training time) is 9 dollars and hour. Full time hours are availabel.

I just finished step 2..is the typing test the last of step 2, was so nervous that in the 1 min. timing test, I know I got at least 4 or 5 wrong type errors and didn't even finish one whole line! Just wondering if that is why after the 1 min. they said I was through with the test! Please, someone let me know if there was more on the step 2, that I was not able to go foward to.

I currently work for them and it is a good company. Yes, that is one of the emails that they use for the hiring process. Just be patient they are still hiring as far as I know.
