Jan.

This is so true! I am in Jamaica and I am with CCPro and MLM LS Pro and the whole point to the internet is that it shrinks the world.
What it comes down to is the size of your vision and your desire to achieve it!

Great to be on the forum.
Melanie

Hi there,

I discovered this forum just yesterday. And really find the information here shared by all the members very useful. I have also gone thru the CCP site. Couple of years back I had invested in Darren Goudry's Passport to Wealth system and inspite of attracting a lot of visitors to the site promoted by me thru Google Adwords, didnt get many people to sign up. In the end I just gave up.

Please correct me if I'm wrong but the business model of CCP also sounds very similar to Passport to Wealth. I'm looking to enter online business again and your clarifications will help me to take an inforned decision before signing up with CCP (or any other system).

Look forward to your feedback.

Thanks.

bestbusiness:
I'm sure that WMI provides great information, but may not appeal to the mass market.

You're right. We don't want to appeal to the mass market.

One thing I like about people who choose to do something like Carbon Copy Pro or something similar is that many times these people are "high-quality" people.

I really admire and look up to people who choose to go after their goals with all their heart.

G'day, Good to see another Aussie here considering CCP. I have been doing a lot of reading up about it and it has really impresed me so far. There are other Aussies in CCP. The fellowI am thinking of signing up with lives in WA. I have been saving up while I have been investigating and am almost ready to take the plunge. I am very excited about having the opportunity to make a significent change to my life with CCP. It would be good to keep intouch with you. We could compare notes as I believe that this is a company where everyone is willing to help anyone who asks for it. Good Luck.

I am glad to hear that everyone is doing so well with ccpro. I had joined a few months ago and still haven't gotten any sign ups. I have about 45 leads, but no applications. I was beginning to think that maybe I should give up. I am only working it part-time, but thought that I could get at least 1 or 2. Since you are all doing so well, I guess I better hang in there a little longer.

Hey Thomas
I was involved with them for almost two months.
I have to say that my experience was not a good one.
I always had trouble reaching my sponsor when I had questions.
Then if I did happen to catch him, he never answered the questions. He just seemed to want to know when I was going to be able to upgrade my membership. I had heard that Google was "slapping" a lot of those web sites because the content was too similar. Well google is the advertizing venue that is promoted by carbon copy as the way to make money. I was on a conference call one evening where it had been mentioned that Jay himself had a lot of his sites slapped down by google. I became concerned and trying to ask my sponsor about it. And his non-response was that ad words advertzing was really for people who's membership was level 2 or higher. At that poing I decided to quit. I was about 3K into it and realized it was not going to work for me at all.. Of course when my sponsor recieved the e-mail that I had decided to quit, then he contacted me often enough and when I refused to re-join, called me a quitter.

Communication is important between a sponsor and the person who joins.

So many times a sponsor doesn't stay in communication because the sponsor is new themselves and is not truly capable of helping the new person.

But if the new person who joins is relying on their sponsor to basically do the work for them, that is not good.

The sponsor needs to communicate regularly but at the same time help to mold the new person who joined into a leader.

Truth be told it is a lot easier to become a leader when the person who joined is getting consistent results. Of course if you're working hard and doing everything you're supposed to be do and not getting results then you are not a quitter, the system just needs to improve.

Hi junistar (and whoever else is reading this),

I've just started with Carbon Copy PRO myself.

With respect to being in Australia, it's almost irrelevant where you live since almost all of your marketing is done on the internet. As long as you have a good internet connection, it doesn't matter where you live.

You might be at a slight disadvantage with respect to having to phone people however. Let me say first though that you do NOT phone people to sell them, it's more of a rapport builder. Seeing as you'd most likely be phoning people in the US and Canada (although it could be to any English speaking country) you'll be charged a little bit more for your phone bill since you're in Australia, lol. If you get a good long-distance plan though you should be fine.

I haven't read through all pages here, just some comments. I saw some comments posted about just getting leads and not sales while working at it part-time though. It's understandable if you have to work a full-time job and can't do CCP all the time, but you should at least jump into CCP with a full-time attitude. Try to work on it at least a couple of hours every day building leads. 45 leads in three months (to mbstrater above) a very small amount of leads. If you don't have leads you won't get sales. To get a lot of leads you need to put time in getting the leads... is essentially what it comes down to.

Oh, with respect to what the $2500 is for... I can't tell you exactly what it would be for as you have to apply to get the full details. Essentially though you will be able to market products of much higher value and make much more money than if you come in with less money.

The whole concept behind CCPro is to eliminate MOST of hurdles that new online marketers face. Hence you carbon copy what jay kubassek has done. For those that are depending on their sponsor in order to be successful, you are setting yourself up for failure.

The way the business model is set up is that it is more SYSTEM dependent than SPONSOR dependent. Sometimes you may not have a good sponsor. Most of the time you will. A sponsor's job is to help encourage, guide, and instruct as much as possible.

But with everyone having the same system, forums, training calls, and marketing training you can't blame anyone if you fail. Only yourself.

Hi everyone

I am new to this forum and this is my first post

I wanted to say that I have been researching home based businesses for quite sometime now and have read many positive experiences with CCP.

As you all probably know by now, over 90% of the "work at home" business models are bogus and are giving the legitimate programs a bad rap as all scams.

You must do your homework and research these on your own. Even forums and review sites should be looked at with skepticism as some are pushing their own agenda to sell you something.

I have looked at the CCP program up to the point of the application fee but have learned many things along the way.

1. It is a direct sale marketing system program for a personal improvement company.

2. There are three levels at which you can join I believe, which include your BIB. The Levels are M1, M2, and M3 or the basic entry level of just BIB. But you can market all the levels and earn the commissions from any level you sell.

3. This is a legit business that will require upfront costs to enter:
$49 application fee, $399 BIB, $149 per month membership fee, which starts your second month, plus your advertising costs.

So far your at $597 and no advertising costs included yet. This is why people have suggested the amount of $2500, To offest the start up costs plus advertising costs.

As with any business venture, you must figure out how much money and time it will take to start up, advertise and work the business.

So far I have read more positive experiences with CCP than negative. All businesses require work, especially in the begining.

I am not pushing this or any other business. I am just offering my opinion as honestly as I can. There are a couple of other possible businesses I am researching before I choose the one I feel is right for me and I will let you know which one it is when I do.

Best of luck,
Tony

This CCPro seems saturated. Are there any other newer reputable businesses out there that require less start up costs but would attract high quality folks to the table?

Maybe a start up cost of around $1000 - $1500 would entice more folks and generate more leads.

Any comments?

Ah, the saturation argument. It's always raised when a company is successful.

If you search for "CarbonCopyPRO" on Google of course you're going to see a lot of ads and websites--you asked to see them!

However if you consider that there are millions of people looking for a home biz opportunity and CarbonCopyPRO has a few thousand members, you acquire a different perspective.

In fact, everyday people join Amway and Mary Kay--companies that have millions of members--and make money.

It all depends on your perspective and attitude.

All the Best,

Mark

Hi guys,

Im Nick from Sydney Australia.

I joined CCPro about 3 weeks ago and I am on my way to have my first online profitable business. For 3 years I did alot of things the wrong way, and like alot of people online trying to make money, all that happens is they get bombarded and lose focus. My websites were more value driven for no profit. It was a hobby, and it treated me that way.

Apart from the upfront cost (which is substantially less then a franchise) the system is TOP NOTCH and fantastic from a beginner to the more advanced. It has inbuilt tracking, custom pages, content, video tutorials, advertising course (30 day plan).

I can see ALOT of potential with this system and I read previously that there are only a few thousand members which is a huge disadvantage. Everyone has their own style of advertising and won't advertise in the same place. When you think of the millions of ad resources online and just promoting Carbon Copy Pro seems like a possibility. OK I have seen some of the other members advertising in the same places, but who cares, your sharing. Your entrepreneurship will allow you to break through the norm and advertise in untapped markets. Local markets are a gold mine and local calls are much more cheaper then making international calls.

It is not for the faint hearted, but the system is simple. You can't just treat it like a hobby. With perserverence and following the plan YOU ARE BOUND TO SUCCEED. That is what the system has taught me.

Can you see yourself doing the same things as you would do with your current job? I mean responsibility and job wise. You need to attain that mindset. This is just one of the things that CCPro teaches you. The support is fantastic and they are always improving the site and tweaking the backoffice.

Anyone in Australia needing local support IM me.

Hope I brought some insight into your perception of the system.

Nick
