I signed up for this program but have not yet upgraded my membeship from free to paid.
They keep sending me e-mails saying people have been pre-enrolled under me and if I upgrade they can be placed in my downline.
Does anyone know of this program and does it work? Has anyone tried it and made any money?

This is the common tactic MLM program will use to get you to upgrade to a paid member.

I don't understand. What was the point to upgrade if no one in your downline did the same? You only make money if they upgrade? I would never have joined that company. Your best bet is to look for another home based business that is legit. On this forum, you'll find many. Good luck!

That's good. For you, it's working. Not all homs businesses are scams. But the ones that are, hurt the people that really want a better way to make a living. It sounds like you're happy doing what you're doing. That's great. I wish you the best that life has to offer.

Try typing in "big money pro scam" and see if anything comes up into a search engine.
I was saved once by doing this.
Like others have said here. If this one turns out to be a scam, just move on. Don't get discouraged into giving up. There are really great systems available to help you build business online. You just gotta find 'em first.
