From the looks of the IT guys at the convention, they look fatigued...need to beef up the IT department.
I agree they need to beef up their infrastructure before trying to bring in the bucks...

Is there anyone that would speak to me about getting another affilated program. Of course, I just used paydotcom.com to get started but I am interested in sellling on this site too. I have googled affiliated programs and signed up for one, but for some reason I can not find the link to use in asd. If some could pm me that would be great.
Again, thanks for all your help. I don't think I would have done this if it wasn't for all of you

The ASD Local group I am with are all close to the 100K Ad Packages Level.
The Person Above is at 350K Ad Packages - taking in $3,500 a day...and retired...goes Mountain Biking Daily... He started with 12K last year (2007).
As with any Network Marketing Program, timing as to WHEN you get in is the essence....

"I was at both the Rochester and Las Vegas rallies so have had the opportunity to witness the explosive growth ASD is experiencing. It's going to take time and effort to add and train staff, but once we get thru these hurdles the patient members will be rewarded. On a lighter note, I sent a cashiers check with an info form FedEx on Wed. for Thurs PM delivery and my ad packages were posted in my account and sponsor's account Thursday afternoon! Not bad."
Lawdy.....not sure of this forum's system yet.....I thought it was going to indicate a reply to Kat's post.....
AT any rate, I miraculously got through to Customer Support this morning.....a very patient gal answered my questions, though she had to go and ask someone everytime I asked a question. She said that it will probably take up to two weeks to post anyone's credits received from the last promotion, that it will NOT be retroactive as far as earning of rebates goes.....she said because they DID offer 100% match, that's why they won't go back and do any rebates retroactively.
I was surprised, a bit disappointed.....but also suppose that's fair enough. Just wish I'd Fed Ex'd MY stuff in advance so I could begin to earn the way I want to start earning. Ah, well.....patience hasn't EVER been one of my virtues. Guess I need to begin working on it.

I think it may take longer than 2 weeks to get all the Cashiers Checks deposited and credited to the accounts. It's a manual process and they have limited staff so I would be surprised to see my account credited in 2 weeks.

Ok - my take so far - after being with ASD a long time now.
It is a great company and the fundamentals work - we advertise, we earn and we get paid. Now that is the most important.
It has been gone over and gone through by accountants and lawyers and heaven knows who and has been pronounced legal and sustainable. We are not dealing with business amateurs or crooks.
The owner's BUSINESS track record is very sound and successful - whatever you think of Napleon Hill.
The admin system is still terrible and we are waiting for a whole office full of new employees to be trained - both in support and accounts.
The programming has not caught up with the expansion and the whole thing needs to be sorted out properly before they go any further as it is taking up a lot of time for existing members, never mind new ones. i agree with some of Andrews comments about the present IT needs of the company.
AND
"As with any Network Marketing Program, timing as to WHEN you get in is the essence.... "
I disagree with this statement 100%.
One of my newer referrals has built up her own group, having started with 25$ (not 2,500$ nor 25,000$) through a bit of work and a bit of luck now has over 10,000$ in ad packages and will shortly be able to get off disability. Her story is not unusual.
In the ASD Cash Generator program BECAUSE it is not an MLM and because of its payment structure, it is NOT time sensitive and you can do better than your sponsor and as long as there are people who are intested in earning and advertising there will be people wanting to join as referrals. AND, as has been proved over and over again - a large prchase at the beginning gives you a faster start and lessens the need to look for referrals. BUT no more.

So many of us agree that ASD currently does NOT have a professionally built or maintained website. But is ASD listening?
I agree completely with andrewh's comment shown below. He obviously has more knowledge that I do on this issue. What I know is that a higher functioning website is possible and should be a matter of concern to ASD. ASD has NOT had the professionals necessary in the past to take on this task. And with all the money coming in - why not????
I note that they have taken down the universe website - good. In it's current Beta condition - it needed to be taken down. Of course, my concern remains that they do NOT have the personnel necessary for their websites. The beta universe site template was not great.
andrewh comments - 'As for IT department(s), that's nothing and not at the core of ASD's problems; they're network administrators, not interactive designers. These guys need developers who know how to build robust commerce sites partnered with strategic interactive designers and writers.
Right now, it's amateur hour at the Apollo. '

Hi Brandy
The money accumlates at aproximately 1% a day of the value of your ad packages. If you have a small ad package, this does take time. When you reach cash earnings of 10$ you can then buy a further ad package with it and earn on a larger ad package total, etc etc
What most people with very small ad packages do, is recruit other people to join the company as their referals and then you earn a comission on their purchases and that also adds to your cash earnings. And as you can buy ad packages with any cash earnings, this gradually increases the total you earn from
I suggest that you go to the ASD webroom and watch the recorded presentation, or go to one of the live ones if you can. This explains exactly HOW the system works far better than I can and does explain it very well indeed!!
http://www.adsurfdailywebroom.com
This is not the same as the InTouch webroom, where Bob Cefail is giving out some professional marketing tips etc. This is the ASD training for ALL members.
Hope that helps
Jenny

The fastest way to make $ is to build a downline by sponsoring others. This leverages your efforts.
At the convention a friend who went purchased $500 in Ad Packages a month ago making $5 a day at 1%. At the convention a person whom he sponsored purchased $25,000 of Ad Packages, which gave my friend a 100% Bonus (25,000).
If you are motivated to sponsor many folks in your downline, this is a way to leverage your success.

Andrew...you sound like you really have a clear head on how to improve their website. If I was you, I would try to contact ASD and try to explain your ideas. If enough people call and let them know how to improve their website, they may eventually listen. I was actually very surprised, that through the whole convention, none of the speakers said anything like, "We know the website needs to be improved with the design, please be patient, and we will get it done." To me, this is the ABSOLUTE most important thing they can do. With this sort of design, I don't know how they can grab the whole market by hand. I'm 24 years old. Just by observation, at the convention, if I was to guess, I would say 75% of the people there were 40 and older. Maybe older people don't care enough. If they want to see younger people involved, which I'm sure they do, it's going to be hard to convince them with the current design. I know for me, it took a lot. Trust me, it makes all the difference in the world.

Hey Bluedog - as an officially "older person" I have to admit the design of the site worries me less than the smooth running of the business. But you are probably right! LOL
Brandy, I Just wanted to clarify the referral aspect. You dont have to be a sales person or even find a brillliant sales person (though it is always nice) in my opinion. Dont let all these near millionaires scare you off! LOL
Personally I have found the best salesman for ASD is the programme itself. You can see that your ad pack spending is growing at about 1% a day and you have the option on increasing your earnings by compounding them. That is going to apply to anyone you know who may be interested.
And dont forget that you are offering people the possibility to advertise their business FREE to a captive audience (all the active members of ASD)
With so much talk about earnings - I think it is easy to forget sometimes that this is an advertising company and we are offering advertising free and also the possibility to earn 125% of the value of our advertising back.
Now that is a great deal, especially when the offer is made by a sound and growing company that will be around a long time.
You have plenty of help from the site itself and i cant recommend that recorded presentation too highly!! it is a must for new and not so new members. After that it all gets easier!
And we have the new PROMo Toolkit available with its new banners and emails etc to help as well.
Dont worry - you will get there!
Jenny

Hello! I will start ASD soon, but I was wondering if ASD will be active for many years or it will fade like many programs out there? Also, in acuople of years from now when many people have huge amounts in their accounts and they start cashing out will that be something ASD can't survive? Anyway, I know is agreat program and I'm happy I ran into it. Good luck to everyone,
Roche.

I don't think that some lack of concern by others in regards to ASD's poor website design/platform is due to one's age. I am 50 ( and don't consider myself old....not yet anyways) and have some experience using website builders like Homestead. You can make some fairly decent sites with Homestead for a small biz or personal but depends on what one's purpose for the website is. But when one is looking at the scale of ASD - one needs the services of a design firm as mentioned by andrewh. And I really don't know if InTouchMedia has the skills required for the task at hand either. Currently, intouchmedia.com - Bob Cefail's site (with whom ASD is working with on some level is currently down for construction. What company wants someone to go to their website and see the message - "Currently under construction. Please check back later." Would one ever see a website like Dell or Amazon down with such a message?
If one looks at the stock of ITOU (InTouchMediaGroup) - it is an OTC stock that last traded at .0005 cents. According to info online, they have a current market value of $ 17,993.50 based on 35,987,000 shares. So that tells you what the market values InTouchMediaGroup at.
I note that the universe website is up again.....Beta. It is so frustrating to see the release of the Beta and the poor quality of it. If it is indicative of the final version - all I can say is that it is very poor design.
I just fail to see why ASD does not take this issue seriously. It certainly can't be for lack of money.

ASD Offer Universe was hastily put together over the weekend in a rush to present it at the Convention. The webmaster was still working on it during the time it was verbally presented at the Convention, and many Corporations aren't even upload to the site yet.
No excuse for them but just an FYI
