Hiya
Has anyone ever heard of New Horizons?
http://www.new-horizons-uk.com/
My husband found the ad on eBay and a lady said she had all the info he wanted but it would only cost him ten pounds, if you've clicked the link, the company themselves request a non-refundable 33. He emailed her back for further info asking her why she was only asking a tenner about 3 days ago, but not heard anything back (it has been a bank holiday so she may well be away) but I'm not entirely sure. It just seems too similar to an ad I once responded to on Gumtree as I sent off ten pounds, only to find that my 'data entry' was sending the same gumph I'd been sent to interested people and requesting (a suggested) ten pounds as payment.
I gave New Horizons my email and name for them to send the requested info, which they have done, but it's pretty much the same info as I read on their website (see above).
Just reading through it seems to be flagging up to me as a similar thing. I can't find anything about them on Google, so I thought I'd check here with you fab bunch.
So has anyone ever heard of these or had dealings with them?
Thanks in advance
xx

Hi Redsadie, It looks and smells like a scam data entry deal but it may not be... the way those work is you would be marketing a page very similar to what they have - and possibly the same one.
The typing skills are to place ads and promote wherever you can so others can pay the money to get started and then they do the exact same thing....
Filling out ad forms would be filling out ad forms advertising your page or website, similar to the one they have...
Like I said, that may not be what it is but it kinda smells like it.

Thanks for replying hun, I 'm thinking alomg those lines too. The only thing about the other one I paid for is that I did get one lady buy from me, but I felt so bad I gave it up. I made my money back so left it.
I don't think I'll be bothering with this one, 33 (or even the 10) is better in my pocket at the moment
xx

I went for it , and its doing exactly what she's doing, not exactly a scam, more a carefully worded con, if you want the full email and instructions I'll send them to you FOC...

Thanks for that Jason
Pretty much what I thought. As I said, I signed up to something similar a few years ago, and all it was doing was placing ads on various free networks, sending them the exact same info I got but telling them to change it and put their own name on instead. Thanks also for the offer but I don't think I'll be signing up any time soon or otherwise

Hi from Norway, I sadly paid into it, wish I never did. Its no an easy typing job, you have to place tons of ads and hopefully someone respond so you have got a job at all!!! And if so you must e-mail them twice, and you have to act as support, answer any questions they may have. Stay away!!
