aew59: To all: Go to a book store and and find a copy of Barrons Book of Finance and Investment and look up the definition of Pyramid. There will be 3 definitions and two of them explain the legal pyramid structures. The ILLEGAL pyramid is a PONZI SCHEME, which Amway, Primerica, and Melaleuca are not. To ALL: Here's an excellent resource/website on mlm's that won't cost you a dime: http://mlm-thetruth.com/
I think that site will explain very well why MELALEUCA and other product based Pyramid/MLM scams go on and on about how great, and exclusive their products are, while the participants never make much in the way of money.

Isn't the BBB a standard for business excellence? If Melaleuca was a scam why would it have been given the prestigious torch award for customer satisfaction and excellent business ethics? Why would the founder Frank Vandersloot be recognized as entrepreneur of the year.
So say what you will but the truth is in the pudding. There is absolutely no risk, try out for 30 days and if you don't see an income then cancel. It's that simple. My first month I put in 5 hours a week and received a 386 dollar check. Next month that amount plus whatever you earn in new commissions will be added together month after month.
This is not a get rich quick or pyramid scheme. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain! Go to the website below fill in your information and I will contact you.
Somebody once asked me, "If you don't do anything soon could things get worst?" Absolutely they could I'm glad I took the initiative and tried Melaleuca. My family and I are now well on the way to financial freedom. Thank you Jesus! Merry Christmas everybody.

I know Mela is not a scam because I know of people who are "Preferred Customers" in my area. I also know how pointless Amway/Quixtar is becasue my inlaws are currently "working from home" with that. They're always trying to push these energy drinks and water on us as well as these overpriced and overpackaged "energy bars" too - I say overpackaged because it's like a snack sized candy bar placed inside a full sized candy bar's wrapper. And overpriced doesn't even come close.
I don't like Mela because a lot of Reps I've asked (about their team name such as 4point moms and internet ceo moms, etc) have lied to me about being with Mela. Every one of them that knows I'm with Ameriplan has tried to talk me out of IT and into Mela. The products may be nice (don't know for myself) but I'll always steer clear of Melaleuca. With Ameriplan I can pay $50 a month and that price will never go up unless I upgrade my membership to APFlex so I an earn more money, still then it's only $100 a month. And I love how Mela Reps insist they aren't selling. Maybe some Ameriplan Reps do the same, but I assure you, myself and many others will NOT deny it's selling. That would be a lie.

I never said Mel was a 'scam'. I don't know about the true value of the BBB's Torch Award, but I'll be looking into that.
I do know that Mel has been deceptive in various ways, as most MLM's are. For ex. I love how they call their business a CDM model (Consumer Direct Marketing) in an effort to deny they are a MLM.
"The only one of it's kind" they trumpet. But CDM is a registered trademark! Of COURSE they are the world's only CDM
Bottom line is, folx don't seem to be making much money, except for those loveable Double Diamond leaders etal!

Axually, I guess I DID refer to it as a scam!
That in as much as MELALEUCA, like other MLMs, is so deceptive. Folx have so many issues with them, and people don't seem to be making money with Mel.

Selling involved:- 1.Keep stock 2.Re-order stock 3.Debts 4.Delivery 5.Price slashes
The repeat sales for any selling is low in percentage which is true. And this is the main reason why a product involve selling hard to succeed.Don't even mention you have more time to stay with your beloved family.
Melaleuca no involve selling but through word of mouth referrals.I am too scare of selling products to friend in order to achieve monthly sales target. At the end resulted you kept excessive of stock in your house and then throw the price below market price. Imagine a new comer join you business, does he/she be able to compete you in terms of pricing? Not at all.
MLM business model is nothing wrong. It is just it is being scammed in a wrong way. That made many people hate MLM especially in our country. The first thing you say something that is similar MLM products, people here straight away put them in a remote mode.Hence, how are you going to refer people into your business.
Just my 2 cents sharing.
BTW, thank you very much to US-Melaleuca, you have created a fantastic opportunity for us in SEA.
Would we break Melaleuca's business history? We shall wait and see.
Wish everyone of you best of health,to your friends and to your family.
Henry Cheers!
