Has anybody heard of this one before? They are based in Canada and buy and sell all kind of stuff, allowing "investors" from all over the world deposit some money (minimum $100, maximum $500) and get a share of the profits. Their President is Chris Bell.

Why pay someone to promote affiliate programs when you can find them for free online? Clickbank, Paydotcom, and CJ are a few good starting places.

Maybe I didn't explain myself clearly. They sell "stuff" like furniture, collectibles, and the such. No e-books or software.

Hi urupanther,
Would it be accurate to refer to it as an investment coop?
I guess it would be something like opening up an interest bearing bank account. You deposit your money. They invest it and profit. They turn around and give you a cut, which is based on their profit and how much you've invested.
Is that how it works? Just wondering why it would be a good idea to lend money to that particular group.
Thanx,

I guess it could be called an investing coop. When they buy something and use investors' money, they only take $10 from every person. This example is posted in their website:
We buy an Item for $10.00 and sell it for $100.00 . Your initial $10.00 + 10% of the $90 profit is returned to your account for re-investment ($19). 10% or the profit is added to your monthly payout ($9). 5% of the profit is sent to your designated charity ($4.50). 5% of the profit goes to the person who referred you to AAN ($4.50).
What do you think? Check the site, they have videos and pictures showing everything they deal with.

My question would be, "Is their stuff selling??"
If they can buy it for $10, how could they SELL it for $100? What if nothing sells?
I am not being negative, just trying to make sense of it... as so often they only tell you part of the story... and I can see making money if the stuff sells, but if it doesn't then the owners will make a bunch of money for awhile and then disappear into the ocean like so many others have done...

it's an interesting concept...if the merchandise sells it should be a stable program.

They are an eBay (canada) PowerSeller. Their rating is 100%, out of 150 feedback comments, 81 items sold in the last 12 months. They have been ther since June 2005 and right now they have 113 items for sale, mostly collectibles, lamps and jars. The "about me" shows: "Vancouver, B.C. Canada's largest dealer in antiques, collectibles, liquidation inventories and just about everything else. Everyone is welcome to visit us at any of our (Greater Vancouver Area) stores and please let us know you heard about us on ebay."

I like the idea, but not in a "long distance" fashion. If I live close enough to them to pay them that visit, I would get my lawyer to write a contract that protects my investment and give it a shot.
I actually had this idea when I was a teenager. It wasn't really mine, I copied it from a couple of "interest-free" investing groups and was dreaming to run the third.

We wouldn't have any members living in British Columbia to pay them that visit for all the rest of us, would we? I live on the US East Coast.

Just wondering what happens to the rest of the money? $100 - $4.5 (Charity) - $4.5 (Referral) - $10 (initial Investment) - $9 (10% Payout) - $9 (Reinvestment) = $63
Looking at the fact that 70% of the profits goes to the company, I would truly love to run this company or buy a share in it for dividend payout every year.

Good question,
As with all businesses, you have to net a profit in order to purchase more merchandise, and that is no different with Affodable Affiliates , the rest of the money is leveraged into more stock. Without stock, there is nothing to sell, so I like to see the company which has a good profit at the end of the day, after all, this is a real business.
Success to all,

There are numbers of different business companies which are buying or refurbishing used office furniture mainly for the purpose of cost savings. What they may not be consciously aware of is that they are also helping in the conservation of our environment. The initiative is really outstanding.
