Does anyone have any experience with this type of activity?

Um, WHAT type of activity?
All Cash Gifting plans are not structured the same.
I'd avoid any pyramid structure.
I am not too thrilled with '1 up' structures either.
You should specify the CG website you are interested in, so folx can judge based own its on merits. (Or lack thereof!)

legitstuffonly I have just recently joined a cash gifting program without a 1up structure. From what I have heard 1up aren't liked that much.
I think cash-gifting is a great activity to be involved with.

I stay away from them but I am sure it is like anything else - if you believe in it and promote it hard enough, you will eventually make some money.

I had posted an inquiry re: TLC2003 but received no responses, so I re-worded my question asking about the 1-up system.

I've never really jumped on the bandwagon with these types of money making ideas. I actually stay away from almost any kind of online money making. They tend to be risky. But if I hear from a personal friend I trust that something works, I might check it out.

Legit stuff only, cash gifting programs are not considered legit by most. You'd be much better off finding a product or service you be comfortable selling to your own mom or dad.

kim_ward: Legit stuff only, cash gifting programs are not considered legit by most. 'most' don't take the time to investigate CG plans on a case by case basis. They are just not all the same!
There's a lot of misinformation about CG, and the true value of a particular biz being 'legit' as well.
Unfortunately too much of what passes for 'products' in modern economies is just a way for someone to make money. But that's another story.
I know what you are saying Kim, but personally, i'd feel uncomfortable selling ANYTHING to dear old mom & dad!!

Well TJ, everyone that is in a CG program says they are not all the same, and that theirs is legit. If there is an opportunity attached, then it's not legal. One can do a search on their own to find the laws within their state.
As far as selling a product to mom and dad, I meant sell to others as if they were family. I doubt many CG's are putting mom and dad in the business.
Good products are not hard to find, but yes there are many opportunities out there where the product is just an excuse to make money. But that's not a good reason to join CG, IMHO.

kim_ward: As far as selling a product to mom and dad, I meant sell to others as if they were family. Yeah, I get your point! You should be able to stand behind what you sell, with no regrets.
kim_ward: yes there are many opportunities out there where the product is just an excuse to make money. I'll probably be censored for this, but that seems to be the basic MLM model. A good product, with a markup, like ALL products have, but with an EXTRA markup to pay all those upline MLM members who need to get a piece of the action (though they have nothing to do with the actual manufacture, sale, or distribution of the product, they still get a profit!?!) That type of MLM upline profit is but one example of 'an excuse to make money' imho.
kim_ward: If there is an opportunity attached, then it's not legal. One can do a search on their own to find the laws within their state. I would like to see you show me the results of such a search. I have an ongoing unanswered challenge to ANYONE who can show me any law that specifically states that cash gifting is illegal. (No, not pyramids - which all MLM's are, buta law that states that any and all cash gifting plans specifically are illegal).
kim_ward: I doubt many CG's are putting mom and dad in the business. Well, here is the url, not an affiliate link, of a Cash Gifting site that is like no other: http://connectingusall.com/ It is truly a humanitarian effort at gifting to those less fortunate. Moms and Dads included!
Pyramids can be illegal. All MLM's are Pyramids, though not all MLM's are illegal. All Cash Gifting plans are not Pyramids however.
And no one has shown me a law, or court case precedent, that says any entity that calls itself a Cash Gifting opportunity is inherently illegal.

I see opportunities like this all the time and I am incredibly leary of them. Has anyone here been successful with a gifting program? I always have the fear that I will give my money and then receive absolutely nothing in return.

Mazzini Auto Cool! Please share if you are so inclined. I would like to know more about the success , and time frame you have achieved such success. And marketing techniques you are using. I have alot to learn and need to find out as much as possible before I start a program.Thanks.

ModernMother: Has anyone here been successful with a gifting program? I always have the fear that I will give my money and then receive absolutely nothing in return. Hi, I have DEFINITELY been successful with Ezy Cash Gifting.
Allow me to qualify: Has it made me rich? Of course not!
Did I turn $5 into $5,000++ in a matter of days? Weeks? Months?
Am I being 'bombarded with hundreds of dollars in my paypal account everyday'?
Nope!
Like any other offer, gifting or otherwise, DON'T believe the hype!
ECG will, however, pay for itself with your very first referral. You will get other referrals as well, and those will pay for any upgrades you'll want to do. In fact, even your very first referral who decides to upgrade, will pay for your upgrade.
And since you'll get at least a number of other referrals, even before ANY of your entry level referrals upgrades past the $5 level (to the next, $10 level) You WILL be in profit quickly.
Every entry level upgrade means $5 in your paypal or other pay processor account - there are currently about 9 pay processor options at ECG. Every upgrade means INSTANT money in your paypal/pay processor account. Paypal is a good choice because that money is INSTANTLY available to you via debit card.
Qualifiers: You will certainly have to be able to get at least one referral to cover the cost of your $5 entry level upgrade. (It is completely FREE to join ECG)
You will certainly need to get referrals to make ANY kind decent of money with ECG.
Avoid doing anything that is simply not worth the payout that ECG will give you - massive amounts of time and or money promoting ECG is not likely to be worth the payouts you'll get in return.
You will have to LEARN how to promote!
If you can't promote ECG, you probably can't promote anything, and either you need to upgrade your promotional skills or just GIVE UP on online marketing.
You MUST have AND develop marketing skills if you are going to get ANY kind of success with ECG or any other online biz.
These qualifiers hold true for virtually ANY online biz opp.
ECG is an excellent biz opp to learn the online promotional biz. It's only $5, and will pay for itself with your first referral.
There are extensive promotional resources in your ECG back office.
You will not have to spend any of your own money because your referrals who upgrade, will pay for YOUR upgrades! You truly need ONLY $5 to get started with ECG, and it will cost you NOTHING else. This I personally guarantee.
ECG is NOT a pyramid, MLM, or one-up structure. This too I personally guarantee.
The results of your own efforts however, I can not guarantee, of course. But there is absolutely no reason you won't be successful with ECG, unless you simply can NOT, or WILL not learn how to promote online.
Unless of course, you choose to do nothing at all with your ECG membership.
Again, this is the 'online promotion biz' and you will simply have to learn how, one way or another, if you are going to make ANY money with online marketing.
ECG is as good a place as any to start.

legitstuff
I am currently in Cash Arrives 365 which has a 1-up structure.
On the daily training calls the admin actually makes a live call to one of your prospects to show you how its done. Then he tells the prospect to expect a call from you.
This is how I got qualified in my first 24 to 48 hours
NO JOKE!
The other program that I'm in is The Peoples' Program.
IMHO the 1-up is superior to the 80/20 split with TPP.

TJamMoneyMan I'm sorry, you must have got involved with a group who thinks only of themselves. I belong with CTS (cash tracking system) my link is <Snip> I have been doing it for 6 months and have brought in 25k. Our particular group will allow the 1-up to give up to 1500.00 to there inviter which is a boost to the one who invited that person. Unlike the rest who's one up gives all to to the person whom the one goes to. It helps the ones whom you get in to grow their line quicker. So you see not all one ups are bad! Ed

Edhr: So you see not all one ups are bad! LOL! I'd reply to that, but somehow I get the feeling you are only posting here to promote your link...
