Hi there! A subdomain is another domain that you can create from your existing main domain. Say for example, your main domain is www.online.com, you can create a subdomain like workathome.online.com or survey.online.com.

It depends on you webhosting on how many subdomains you can create. A lot of web host offers unlimited subdomain.

I host with godaddy as suggested by Mike.

Best.

Why should one create a subdomain instead of just having another main domain? Does it have any advantage?

Do we also buy and register a subdomain?

Thanks.
