Hi there all,

I have been a member of profit lance for a few weeks but have only really started recently with few things. I must say that this forum is great, been watching how you guys help each other. Anyway, i have decided to start with articles and was wondering how to enter the url address into the article to direct visitors to the profit lance prebuilt sites? I am fairly new, so please excuse the silly questions for now.

Any assistance would be appreciated

just enter the text you want in your article, then highlight over the text with your mouse and you will see a little icon at the top that kind of looks like a little globe and a chainlink underneath. Click on that and that is where you enter your URL

Just watch how many links you put in, as some article websites can be quite strict and you may find that they only allow one or two links within the main body of the text.
You best bet is to read their rules and see what they allow.

I tend to just put my link in the Bio at the bottom of the article. Just make sure when you are writing the article that it is of a good quality this will convince the reader you have more to offer and the subsequently they will click on your link.

Unless your submitting to specific article directories that allow links in the body (ie ezinearticles) then only include links in the author box.

You can manually add links to your articles with the following HTML code:

[code]<a href="http://www.your-web-site.com">Place Your Text Here</a>[/code]

Thanks guys for your advise, i will be sure to use it! Just another question though, I just received a response from ezine saying that I should not be promoting my product or company name in the article body. So, if I were writing about Profit Lance, does this mean that I cannot use PL in the body? What do you then put in the article body?

I haven't gone through them all yet, but eZine has sent me a bunch of lessons on article writing, and I think this sort of advice is in there somewhere.
