Does anyone know where I can get info on how to do this. I found no information on Wordpress Direct. Does anyone else know how to do this or where I can find the info to learn to do this?

Have you tried the 30DC forum? There are a lot of people using WPD in the 30DC. I decided not to use WPD after I saw all the problems the newbies were having. I am a newbie too and couldn't bear the thought of fighting that battle. I do good to do Blogger, lol.

Yes, I currently have this question posted on the 30DC forum. I have had one response - somebody else wanted to know how to do this, also. I did a Google Search and found a website with an address of: http://www.bloganything.net/159/how-to-insert-youtube-and-google-video-into-your-word press-post, but I'm not sure I trust it. You have to download two items from this website to your computer. Unless someone else comes up with something better, I might have to try it.

I took Wordpress Direct on a trial basis while I studied Profit Lance and the 30DC. I have been studying PL for 2 months and 30DC for 25 days. I really have not tried to promote anything, yet. I was following some advice given to me by Newbie Shield. So far, I have had no problems with Wordpress Direct, but I have heard others have had problems.

I have so far been using the 3 WP Direct Blog s option, and there is no functionality for Video. Sorry...
I believe you need to upgrade, which is not free.
I am planning try to link to another page where I will have my video, and upgrade later.

You can't go wrong with advice from NS so go with that. He's quite a knowledgeable guy, honest and nice too. And Victoria she has experience with WPD and a 30DC member she can help. By the way, while I'm here, Yoo Hoo HI Victoria.

Thanks for all of you responses. I found the answer to my question - how to post a YouTube video to a WPD blog. Someone on the 30DC forum answered this question for me, and it is simple.

Answer - Go to the YouTube video you want to post to your blog and copy the "embed code" that normally shows to the right of the video. Then, go to your WPD blog, open "Posting", and then paste the "embed" code in the "HTML Editor". Then, push "Publish". That's it - the video will appear on your blog. The "HTML" editor button appears on the same bar as "Bold, Italics, and Underline".
