Are you talking about manual submissions? I know that there are lots of free automated or semi-automated submission options. However those get flagged and rejected from what I've been reading.

Apologies for bumping this thread but I wanted to read birdgirl's views on SubmitComfort as I recently payed them for 500 directory submissions, and want to hear how she got on with them.

i used directory maximizer. Great little tool.
I have a question, if I have already submitted using directory maximizer (paid service) can I use another service like inetzeal to submit? What if they go to the same directories as the 1st company??
Any ideas?
