I have read many posts from this and other forums of many, many people who make decent money from surveys and research groups. I signed up with 60!!!! And can't see how I will ever make the minimum to cash out of any of them. I never seem to qualify for anything, and the few that I did were for measly dollars that I can't get until I build up to $25 - $50! UGH!!! Any tips or ideas? (although, I thought I read them all).

I think there are more moms that do surveys over at the wahm.com forum - you might want to check there??

Hi,

I do not recommend any survey sites!

Reasons

1. A lot of Spam mails you have to manage

2. Hard to complete survey( Frequently Disqualified )

3. $1 per survey is what mostly you can expect

4. No one is making decent money with survey sites!

My solution is Stay away from survey site!

Only way you can make decent money from Online is

either Affiliate marketing or Paid to Click ads sites.

Good luck to your business

Happy day~^^

Now really, you can't say any of the above reasons on any "absolute" level. I make good money on surveys and don't get any spam whatsoever. I won't do surveys for less than $1 most of the time...yet I still make $875 in the month of May alone. And no, none of that was from referral income (I made $47 in referrals in May, but that isn't included in the $875). I guess it depends on what you call "decent" money, but I feel like that is decent for what I do.

It takes patience (and some luck and good demographics). How long have you been at this?

Honestly, I would recommend that you not waste your time anymore. A few years ago, I spent hours and hours and hours signing up with paid surveys companies, and only earned $5...

Also, the survey route is vey routine and boring in my opinion. Find something you are passionate about and the hours at the computer just fly by. Its a lot to learn and I mean a lot, but I think its going to be worth it. Its like going back to college almost.

Whilst I have not earned anywhere near the vast amounts of money some people claim to have made from surveys I have found them a useful source of income. Most surveys only take 5 to 10 minutes to complete and I tend to do these during my lunch break when I'm sitting at my desk surfing the net anyway.

If you join several different survey sites (do not pay as there are lots of decent free to join ones) then you should be able to find some surveys who will pay you some cash although it can take time it is worth it in the end.

I think for some it does make a good income. I do some gpt and also look at websites for money I have also done some surveys. I don't like waiting a long time for my money though so pinecone was my fav!

yes pinecone is one of the better ones to belong to. I really like that they pay quickly by paypal. Recently Opinion Outpost has only been taking about 1 week to send me a check in the mail. That's quite an improvement. On the flipside Toluna (formerly Your2Cents) is still taking way too long

We'll there may be some exceptions, but looking to make a living doing surveys is probably a poor choice. For a few bucks that's different. It's all about falling into the parameters of the surveyors.

I presume you went that route to minimize cash outlay in an attempt to make money. There are way better alternatives.

Hello momofbats,

I wish I could help you.
It seems a lot of people have frustrations with MLM also.

Do you like to write?

Squidoo is a wonderful opportunity to begin making money online.

Also as so many here in this forum have suggested, the Thirty Day Challenge (free totally) is probably the best opportunity, as a beginning to get something going.

This year, they are focusing on market leadership, and exposure.

Just a suggestion...
Victoria

There are many that do require the higher minimum payouts. However there are some like Opinion Outpost ($5 min.) Survey Savvy (No Minimum) and Survey Spot ($5 min). That's to name a few. I hope this helps a bit.

I see allot of you out there just don't get the point. People don't do survey sites to enjoy it, they do it because they are in need of money. Affiliate work does not pay well or often without advertising saturation in addition to knowing what to do. I suggest one does not recommend to not do paid surveys unless they can provide and alternative means of quick paying cash. Just my 2 cents,
Be Well,
Karl

I agree. Surveys...if you are with good sites and are lucky enough to qualify for them...are easy money.

That said, affiliate work can pay well, but certainly takes more effort than surveys.

It depends on how long you've been doing them as you probably won't qualify for a lot right away. Also, you might just not have the demographics that they're looking for. They look for very average (in their eyes) people.

You usually have to sign up for more than 60 companies to really make money, some sites are good some are crap, you have to weed through them, some only give surveys so often where some give them daily and usually the more experience you have the more you can make (like doctors etc), but don't give up, to really make money you should at least belong to about 200 companies or more.
This takes a bit to start up through all the registration process (roboform helps here) but once it is all done they do start to come through. You will also see more that pay more with more companies.

I hope this helps you out.

I have been with SurveySpot for about 2 years and I finally get those $7.00 surveys. Before that I usually received $1.00 - $3.00 surveys and lots of sweepstake entries which I ignore.

Other survey companies that pay better are Toluna, Opinion Outpost, GlobalTestMarket, Your2Cents, Lightspeed, Valued Opinions and PineCone Research of course.

It takes time and patience and once the survey companies find that you respond to their surveys, they will send you more and the better paying ones.

I am experienced more than 5 years about paid surveys and I checked and found the best sites after making many searchs. If you find the right sites, it is possible to earn more and more money with surveys and you don't loose any time.
