Don't waste your time with surveys. There are much better ways to make money on line. I agree the advertisements look fantastic. Consider affiliate marketing. You can actually make great money with affiliate marketing.

You can actually make great money with affiliate marketing. I disagree. While some may not have success with them, for many they are very worthwhile. And while other methods of making money online may be higher earners, paid surveys can be the best solution for people who are not experienced/skilled in other areas as well as for those that don't have a lot of time to spare.

I agree with moneymaker1008. While I make the bulk of my online money doing surveys, I also do affiliate marketing. However, when I started taking surveys 7 years ago I was in no way ready to jump into affiliate marketing...that came as I learned more and more.

Paid surveys and affiliate marketings are totally different ways to make money. With paid surveys, you "invest" your time and most people can make some kind of money. To make money with affiliate marketing, however, you need to have necessary skills (or the ability to learn the skills).

I don't like surveys. It seems like you have to fill out a survey just to fill out a survey. Plus, you get bombarded with spam.
It's easy if you get paid to do something like click on advertisements. At least all you're doing is surfing to get your pennies....but then with referrals, you build more money.

You might be thinking of the "surveys" that GPTs offer. Those are not real surveys. Real ones will never lead to spam.
And paid surveys are much more worthwhile than PTCs. You make much more than pennies.

momofbats: I signed up with 60!!!! And can't see how I will ever make the minimum to cash out of any of them. Interesting, there are many survey sites that don't have minimums.
mountainmom5: I think there are more moms that do surveys over at the wahm.com forum - you might want to check there?? This forum, has an entire section dedicated to paid surveys - Paid Surveys there is plenty of info for momofbats to find here.

I would never rely on cash surveys as a main source of income. As people have said in the above comments - you can make money by doing paid surveys - but it will never be enough to make you millions as some of the more unscrupulous programs will claim.
I agree with jaesun16 that Affiliate Marketing is one of the best online businesses - takes a bit more effort on your part but the rewards are far greater. :P

Friends, all these internet programs are design to make money for the program creators, your role is to make them money. So what you do is try to sell the program to new prospects hoping to cash in, but what you don't realize is that you need to bring 200 or 300 new sign ups to get pay, a task, you'll never accomplish, but the program owners would make money anyway just with your(and your recruits) daily activity. To make the story short, if you don't do your own thing, them you'll be helping others to pay for their "one million dollar lives" and if you don't believe me, ask for proof of income (no one have none) My advise to you, " take your time and learn" so they can't pray on your lack of knowledge, anyway you are giving your time for nothing so use it to learn. that's the only way to make money in the internet.

I have not yet signed up for any survey companies, but some of the claims on their websites make their surveys look pretty good. One thing to remember is that survey sites are more like jobs than home-based businesses. That means they will never give you passive income. But they could be good for some extra cash.
Shoot, I still do my Walmart surveys every time I get them in hopes of winning that coveted $1,000 gift card award. Still hoping...
Now if the beer companies wanted to send me free samples, I'll take a taste test survey for free.

Andy3568 mentioned the "winning surveys" niche (Walmart gift-card). If you want to make your living out of winning prizes, don't bother. But, if you are willing to spend 8 hrs. every day at your computer taking paid surveys AND winning surveys as an addition, I think you can increase your chances to make a good money. When I say a good money I mean $2000-$3000 per month nothing more. Forget about those who promise you tons of $$$. Just be consistent and don't give up.
Good luck.

evgenyts: When I say a good money I mean $2000-$3000 per month nothing more. Forget about those who promise you tons of $$$. From paid surveys alone, that's still too high to expect. And in the beginning I would say you can expect to make no more than $100 for the first month or so.
I'm not going to rule it out as impossible, but you would need to be doing focus groups and product tests as well and have a ton of referrals. You would also need to have the demographics they're looking for and be a member of at least 50 panels or so.

Personally, I would leave the surveys alone unless it is one in which you actually want to make your opinion known.
To build a profitable biz on filling out surveys is a waste of time.

I wouldn't recommend doing surveys. I tried it once. Never made a dime, spent hours trying to finish just one and ended up with an email box that was loaded with spam. I think they're bogus, but maybe someone has made it work.

Whatever survey site you were using was either a scam or a GPT site.

I agree with moneymaker1008. Dear Brandilu, you weren't taking real paid surveys. I will give you a little from my experience how I started to earn some extra money from them. At first I tooke every paid survey I tought was paing something and I made a long list of all survey companies took surveys from and then I realized that some of them was spamming me so I devided my list to ligitimate companies which really paid me and a black list, companies that I will never return to. This way I did not waisted my time on surveys that don't pay. These days I have a content site on the whole issue with ONLY legitimate sites on it. You can see there that I show you how much you will earn from each survey and who is eligible so you won't waist your time. Vist it!

And, unfortunately, anyone who tried surveys "once" or "for a month" and then walked away didn't stick with it long enough. It takes time, that is for sure.
It's a combination: the right sites, the right demographics (at the right time, there is no "perfect" person to be), and the right amount of persistence and patience.

happygal, I am working online for a long time. The "perfect combination" thing is very easy to solve. You just go to the "Terms and Conditions" tab of each survey and you will find exactly what they are looking for. On my Blog I actually present you with the survey eligibility conditions so you won't waist your time. I do the research myself before I put it there.
Another tip for survey panelists: "Don't pay to be hired" - don't pay to take any surveys. On my Blog all information is free and accesable to everyone.
Good Luck!

Oh, no, you see, I disagree completely. I don't want to try to "be" the person they are looking for. I think it's more important to be honest about who I am and what my purchasing habits are, etc. than to qualify.
