Quoting: Newbie Shield Scams aside, are the ones that actually work really worth the time? I'm pretty pessimistic about surveys, data entry, stuffing envelopes, etc. Newbie Shield Giving away 10 free Power Malls
To be honest, No. I don't know about everyone else, but the extra money does help to keep some of my bills paid.

It really does help, especially during the holidays when I never have enough cash for Christmas shopping. My check from CashCrate for August was $52.77! L@@K....I have pictures of all my checks posted on my blog.

Quoting: Starbright48 Are you kidding? You must kidding! I've signed up to some of those sites and here's what happened: 1.Global Test Market: Signed up to this one one year ago. Never received any surveys at all. When I wrote to their customer service about it, they sent me a canned message saying that they had to find a survey that fits my profile---a search takes a whole year?!! 2.Survey Spot: These people claim to send cash surveys. The only surveys they ever sent me were sweepstakes surveys with long odds. 3.Creationrewards.net:Signed up with them two years ago. Never heard from them.
I posted the information in this forum because I want to share my experience with other members. This is what works for me, and I am sorry to hear that it did not work for you. I do not have an answer why you did not receive invitations from Global Test Market, Survey Spot or Creation Rewards. Many Survey Sites have profile sections for technology, automotive, shopping, finance, work related and travel. Did you ever complete those? Maybe you are not the right candidate for their surveys. Maybe they are looking for people in different areas from where you live. Many forum members write about their positive experiences with the above survey companies and I am one of them.
To your success, and happy survey-chasing!

I have been actively working on this exact question for awhile now. What I am learning is this: Yes , there are companies that pay you and they are reputable and reliable. Many of them have been mentioned in this thread. I am getting my own list ready for what I guess you'd call "distribution", but I am not going to spam anyone. I'll just send it out to people who ask. For the newbies, let me tell you this: First- DO NOT waste time taking surveys for prizes and drawings or for point systems that end up paying you 10 cents an hour. SImply ignore them.
Second, I have fond that the term "survey" does not apply to the oxford definition of a survey here on the net. This means focus groups, brainstorming session (huge fun, if you're a creative person) product trials, pad to read email sites, and paid offers to try things.
Third, when you are answering a survey questionnaire, DO NOT LIE. In most cases, they'll have a trap to catch the lie and that will be the last survey you get from them for a long time that is worth anything.
This is STILL all stuff you can do from home. The most money I have ever made in one Month doing this is about $120 dollars. I will admit to not working at it full-time. I do believe I can do better if I apply myself.
I have some other thoughts to pass along but I am such a slow typer. I'll be back, but I'll be more than happy to connect with people who would like to pick my brains a bit.

Hi,
Just thought I'll give everyone an update. I just got my payment from A.W. Surveys. I know now that they do pay, even though they send out one survey once a month, and you have to work like a dog to get referrals to be able to get to $75. But they do pay.

I thought I share this with you;
just got off a survey I had been invited to with SurveySpot. It was a follow-up survey for Kitchen and Bathroom faucets, I would receive $15.00 reward upon completion, time for survey approximately 60 minutes. So I started they survey, went through the pre-qualification screening once again and then kept on reading and answering their never ending questions. Finally, after 55 minutes into the survey without taking any breakes I received the message "We are sorry, but you did not qualify for this survey"... and I had already completed 98% of their survey. -
Oh well, just wasted one hour for nothing. No money, just an entry to their sweepstakes. A bummer!

I agree with what a lot of you are saying, I don't think surveyspot is worth the effort...not for me at least. So I usually skip them and focus on all of the surveys I get that are worth the time.

That's unfortunate karls1973.. and similar thing happened to me too, but not SurveySpot, it was GlobalTestMarket.
Surveyspot happens to be pretty good for me.. even most of their surveys are just for drawings, they do have cash surveys.. I even have done interactive surveys for them, and once I got a local focus group opportunity through them..
I guess everybody's experience is different.

I've tried doing surveys but I do not think it's worth taking all that time to do surveys. But if anyone wants to know which survey's are legit... I usually go to surveypolice.com Their website is an excellent way to get information on which survey sites pay.

Survey Police is an excellent resource. I have found that many survey sites use Survey Police as a resource to build their sites so they have the greatest survey offers available.
I myself have found that surveys are worth my time. My favorite companies are Opinion Outpost and Pine Cone Research. Most of my money each month comes from these sites.

That's great ramaam, because many people who had joined A.W. Surveys did not get paid at all! There are quite a lot of complaints listed with Money Fan Club, SurveyPolice.com, Volition.com and the BBB.
Be careful!

Hi, Samuel,
I'm looking at your post. I am in a program that is better than some of these survey programs. It's called Clixsense.com. It's a paid to click advertisements program. You view 30 second ads, click the timer when the ad ends, and you're paid for it. I've been paid five times already. Clixsense is a international program that sign up people all over the world, including India. I can't put my referral link on here, but if you give me your private email address, I can send you the information you need to sign up. Let me know.

I got my second payment from AW Surveys today. I wonder if the problems some people may be having in getting paid is due to cheating?

Do you actually get paid doing Clixsense (like a physical check mailed to your home)? I haven't heard much about them, but all that I have heard has been negative...therefore, I have yet to give them a try.

Hi, shuey03,
Yes, a physical check is mailed to your home. I'm trying to figure out why you would be hearing negative stuff about Clixsense. I'm been in the Clixsense program since March of this year, and I never had any problems with them. I've been paid on time every month.

I had signed up with Clixsense for free and checked out their system. To be honest, it is a total waste of time because they give you about 4 ads to click on every day, which pays $0.04. That's about $1.20 / month or $14.40 /year ! Sure, they want you to upgrade for $10.00 and then you get paid for referrals. Hits4Pay, DealsnCash, Inboxdollars, SnapDollars, TikTikCash, Sendearnings, etc. do the same thing. All require a lot of time but you make little money.
There are much better opportunities out there, read the posts.
Good luck!

Is $70 dollars a waste of time? Because that is how much I made with Clixsense last month!

The number of surveys one receive depends on your daemorgraphic profile. Maybe, your profile does not match what the survey panels are looking for. What I mean is, married people have higher chances of getting a paid survey than a single. Married people with kids will rank higher than those without kids. This are all example of daemorgraphic profiles.
It does not matters where you come from if you profile matches what they are looking for, you will get the surveys.
I come from Malaysia but I do receive some surveys from them. Not as much if I live in USA I guess but it is still extra money. I made almost USD70.00 last month from joining online survey sites. It is not much but its enough to pay for my website hosting for year !!This amount does not include my referrals and affiliates income.
You need to update your profiles regularly. It as always best to be as honest as possible when updating your profiles.
Try updating your profile.
