I have had the best luck with Cashcrate and Inbox Dollar so far. You might want to check out these sites.

I have been doing surveys and completing offers online for the last 2 months and have received payment by check. My first check was $28.47 with very little effort and about 2 hours time. I also tried AW Surveys and was really excited about but after I made $43 there are no more surveys for me and the minimum payout is $75 so I have lost hope with that company. You should never have to pay any fees to join a legitimate company.

Hi,
The only way I realize that you could earn money with A.W. Surveys is not with surveys because they do not send that many surveys out. It's with their referral program you could really make money. I've been with A.W. Surveys since June and received six surveys for that month and only one survey from them since July. I haven't received any surveys at all from them this month. So far, with the surveys I have made only $28. I realized that I could make more money (and reach payout) by making referrals. I'm up to $38 now since I've gotten some people to sign up. I'm going to see if I could keep getting more referrals until I reach payout. After I get paid, I think I'll probably close my account with A.W. Surveys. To me, its tiresome trying to round up referrals for a program that takes so long to reach payout with. By the way, have you tried any of the PTC's (paid to click) programs?

Hi again,
Thought I would give an update. I just received and completed a $1.00(wow!) survey from A.W. Surveys today. Now I'm up to $39.

Quoting: Starbright48 I think I'll probably close my account with A.W. Surveys. I think that's a good idea. AW Surveys is a joke and a scam.

I rushed into surveys a little to quickly - ended up wasting $40 on a listing site (serves me right for not doing my homework) plus plenty of time sifting through sites that didn't seem to offer anything near I was looking for. Obviously it was made to sound to obvious that you can make a few hundred dollars a week. So, in my opinion, SCAMMED.

I paid SurveyScout for their survey list/database 3 years ago. Within 2 days after signing up with their recommend top 15 sites on the list, I got tons of spam emails and even telemarketing calls. I request a refund and got my money back!
A paid directory is better? Not at all!!!

No a paid directory is not better.. You even need to be careful of the free directories.
The majority of them include the sites that send all the spam.
Do your research before using any list and make sure you are using a good one if you want to avoid the offer sites and the spammy sites.

What bothers me about those paid directory sites is, they already made money from their paid list, and yet they still trying to promote junk sites just for commission!

I put in a request to get a refund. Who knows what will happen with that. Personally, I prefer network marketing.

Which listing site did you use?

PlanetPanel is a great survey site. You don't get paid per survey but you have the chance to win money every month instead ($50-1000) and once a year they draw one winner of $12000! Two friends of mine have won money from them. They also have a forum where they sometimes have contests with cashprizes. [Link removed - Admin]

First, I want to make a statement; don't waste your money signing up for any websites promising you $200 / day for a few minutes of filling out surveys. It's just not happening. I have paid fees up to $69 each for joining several of these sites. Then I received a list of survey sites and was told to register with as many as possible, but no less than 150 in order to make money. I registered, it's been now over 2 month and I received only a handfull of invitations. Some will say "Survey not available" or "Quota filled". So far I made $2.75.
The most promising survey sites and the ones that pay you are the FREE ONES!
1.Global Test Market I make an average of $120/month. Some of their surveys take some time to complete. You have to be fast and start their surveys immediately. Make sure you check your email twice a day. Their surveys expire very quickly or they get enough responses and close the survey.
2.Surveyspot.com many of their surveys give you an entry to their sweepstakes. But they do give you $1.00, $2.00, $3.00 and $5.00 surveys once or twice per week. Potential earning: $30.00 - $50.00 /month.
3.Creationrewards.net earn points which you then can turn into cash. Potential earning is about $30.00 - $50.00 /month.
4.Greenfield Online lots of entries in their sweepstakes, some of those take a long time to complete. They pay you $2.00 for some of their surveys if you qualify. Potential earning: $10.00 - $15.00 /month.
5.ClearvoiceSurveys.com once in a blue moon you will get a $1.50 - $3.00 survey. Sometimes they will tell you that you do not qualify after you already spent 10 minutes into they survey. Potential earning $10 - $15.00 /month.
6.e-Rewards.com once in a blue moon you get a $1.00 to $2.00 survey. No CASH, coupons only. Potential earning $4.00 - $8.00 /month.
7.e-Search.com they send invitation very rarely, Only $1.00 - $3.00 ever month. They credit you on your PayPal Account. Potential earning $ 1.00 - $3.00 /month.
8.Your2Cents.com they send you $1.00 - $3.00 surveys three or four times per month.
9.www.inboxdollars.com not bad, but you are only allowed to earn $1.00/day. Sometimes it takes a few attempts to qualify for a survey. I have had days where no surveys where available. Potential to earn $30.00 / month.
10.www.sendearnings.com same as Inboxdollars. You are only allowed to earn $1.00/day. Sometimes it takes a few attempts to qualify for a survey. I have had days where no surveys where available. Potential to earn $30.00 / month.
Useless Survey sites are:
www.PandaResearch.com . They just want you to sign up and try all kind of services. You will get paid a few Dollars, but many are difficult to cancel after the so called "trial period". If you sign up with too many, it's hard to keep track of them. Then all of a sudden you find all kind of charges on your credit card and don't know where they come from.
Useless Get-paid-for-reading-ads sites:
Tik Tak Cash pays you $0.02 for the website they invite you to view. They only pay you for viewing one site per day! Well, do the math here how much you can make...
Cash4Offers.com pays you $0.05 for viewing email/advertisement. Sometimes they send you 2 sites per day. Their main idea is to get you to sign up for trial offers.
Hits4Pay.com pays you $0.02 - $0.03 for viewing email/advertisement. You can earn a few Dollars as soon as you have members in your downline ( 2 levels possible). Refer people to the site and get paid as soon as they start viewing those emails/advertisements.
DealsnCash.com same as Hits4Pay - pays you $0.02 - $0.03 for viewing email/advertisement. You can earn a few Dollars when you create a downline ( 2 levels possible). Refer people to the site and get paid as soon as they start viewing those emails/advertisements.
Note: Sometimes it gets quite frustrating. Many Survey Sites send me invitations, but as soon as I start with the survey, I get the message " Thank you, but the survey is over now" or "Thank you for participating in this survey, but you do not qualify. Check back later" or "We are experiencing technical difficulties, please check back later".
Any comments are welcome.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I have written all about my survey experience at my website (lot of information), including survey sites have paid me, survey reviews, and my advice and guide for paid survey beginners.
Like you I paid a site $34.95 membership fee to access their list of paid survey sites, and it turned out to be not worth the money at all.
One thing I want to point out is if you are new to paid surveys, it's very important to be patient. My first month I didn't actually received any money, I did make a little and got some points, but the money didn't start to coming in until around the end of second month.

Are you kidding? You must kidding! I've signed up to some of those sites and here's what happened:
1.Global Test Market: Signed up to this one one year ago. Never received any surveys at all. When I wrote to their customer service about it, they sent me a canned message saying that they had to find a survey that fits my profile---a search takes a whole year?!!
2.Survey Spot: These people claim to send cash surveys. The only surveys they ever sent me were sweepstakes surveys with long odds.
3.Creationrewards.net:Signed up with them two years ago. Never heard from them.
4.Greenfield Online: All they ever send is sweepstakes surveys.
5.Clear Voice Surveys: They sent me a couple of surveys which I started only to be told in the middle of the survey that I didn't qualify. That was one year ago. I haven't heard from them since.
6.Your2cents.com: They send me survey invites, but I never seem to qualify for any of their surveys.
7.Inbox Dollars: I closed my account with them because I got sick of them sending me 1cent emails. It's also a paid to do offers site, with very few free offers.
8.Send Earnings: This is a paid to do offers site with no free offers and no paying emails. I've closed my account with them also.
The Survey sites that really pay are ACOP, NFO My Survey, LiveWire Survey and Viewpoint Forum. Since I signed up with them a year ago, I've been getting surveys from these places at least twice or three times a month. I've also been paid by them with no strings attached.

Scams aside, are the ones that actually work really worth the time? I'm pretty pessimistic about surveys, data entry, stuffing envelopes, etc.
