Is Survey Broker legitimate? They basically provide a list of survey sites that pay double digit sums per survey ($20 and up), and they claim you can do as many as you want daily.
I don't like that they charge $50 for the materials (only $40 according to their FAQ), but they have a list of 500 companies conducting surveys of all kinds.
HOW DO I KNOW SURVEY-BROKER.COM IS LEGITIMATE AND THIS ISN'T SOME SCAM?
We could list all sorts of reasons, but there would be no easy way for you to verify most of what we said - so we won't even bother mentioning them.
If you're really curious, go to Google and search the web for the term "Survey-Broker.com" - you'll find other websites that highly recommend our site and our service.
We are also one of the most highly-rated sites at ClickBank - one of the Internet's largest payment processors.
There is one thing that proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that this isn't a "scam" ...
We use ClickBank.com and PayPal.com to process our orders - quite possibly the Internet's largest and most prestigious payment processors.
These huge companies (PayPal.com is owned by eBay!) only process orders for legitimate websites - not fly-by-night companies and rip-off artists.
If we didn't provide a valuable service for a fair price, provide great customer service, honor refund requests (very rare!), etc. then the Internet's two largest payment processors would not continue to process our orders. They have very strict rules about that "stuff".
You want to know the bottom line - something that most merchants won't tell you? If you were not satisfied with Survey-Broker.com and we refused to issue a refund, all you would have to do is contact the payment processor directly and they would issue a refund automatically.
It really is as simple as that. This is no scam, and you have nothing to lose.
I don't feel I have to pay them or anyone a fee, when I can compile a list of my own. Can anyone here recommend surveys that I can do on a regular basis paying [u]no less than $10 apiece[/b] ?

In all my effort to make money with paid surveys, all I ever earned was about $5, and that is after investing A LOT of time into trying to find one I qualify for.
To say that you are going to be able to earn $20 and up for each survey you take, and that you can take as many as you want each day is not realistic.
If you are like most people, you will be very fortunate if you get to take one survey a week that pays $10.
While some people have better experiences than I did, the reality is that most people don't, and feel ripped off when they pay money to access a paid surveys database. It would probably take you at least a month to get your intial $50 back, and that is being optimistic...

No this isn't realistic. You shouldn't pay for a list...and even if you did, no one can guarantee that you would even qualify for all of those surveys.
While I am relatively sure I am with the 500 sites they say they have on their list (I am with over 600 these days) I only have ever been paid by about 50 of them. Start with those and see how it goes for you.

I'm glad we agree, because I already decided I wasn't going to do this.
However, even if they do provide a list of 500 surveys, in theory it is somewhat possible that you could do them whenever you want if you sign up with a 100 or more.
I've tried surveys on my own on a limited basis (about 15 at the most) and I turned most of them down because they paid so little it just wasn't worth my time. However, I have gotten multiple survey offerings in a week from one website ECN Research. But again, they pay $1 to $5 -- a wasted effort that I refuse to make.

I am sure out of the 500 so called surveys (sites), there are many junk sites that will get you spam.
Absolutely waste of money and time - right decision not to do it.

For some reason, better judgement set aside, (I think it was because of the anasthetics after my minor operation) I joined SURVEY BROKER. After inspecting the site and following its advice to the tee. I went down the list of 181 survey sites and saw that I could only use 68 of them as I am Canadian. Out of the 68 sites, only 15 of them were available to me and were not proposals to spend more money etc. I filled out those surveys using the program they recommended (for quicker more efficient form filling). Only one or two spoke of payment - I would apparently be paid $0.50 for a completed survey. At no time was there any mention of larger payments by any of the sites. Most of the surveys I filled out said I would be put in a draw for a prize.... I'm not holding my breath! In conclusion... A BIG waste of time... I just submitted emails to their website [email protected] (there are no telephone numbers to speak of) requesting my money back. I also submitted a request to clickbank at: http://www.clickbank.com/csinquiry.html I will keep you posted if I actually get payment like the previous entry suggests

Sorry to hear about your bad experience. I hope you do get your money back! Remember everyone...do NOT pay for a list of surveys.

linmans, Does Survey Broker have Money Back Guarantee? If yes, you probably have better luck to get your money back through Clickbank.

Hi mlynn, Yes, Survey Broker does have a 100% money back guarantee. I received an email from them today. They have actually refunded my money in full... I'm pleasantly surprised... however, I'm going to wait until the money is back in my account before I celebrate too much!!
Thanks for your sympathy happygal, lesson learned!

Could you please tell me how you were able to get a refund? I foolishly signed up yesterday hoping to make some extra cash to pay off medical bills. I wasted over six hours registering on the different survey sites and was continually told there were no surveys available for me, or I needed to pay something to participate in a trial or earn $0.50 a survery. I saw nothing of the $25 surveys, etc. I don't have anymore time to waste on these useless links. I need my money back. I have emailed them and gotten no response. I don't know if I need to dispute the charge with my bank. I would love to know how you were able to get your money back. Thank you for your help. This experience has introduced me to the concept of getting scammed on the internet. I knew it sounded to good to be true - I should of gone with my gut feeling. But I didn't and can't find a number to reach them at or get a response from my emails. Thanks =-)

This was one of the first online jobs I had applied for. Let's say...
-I never earned anywhere close to $5.00. -Never got my money back. -Repeatedly register with too many companies. -Wait forever to be approved by companies. -Barely got any surveys to answer. -Takes forever to answer the survey. -Can't earn mega bucks for spending over 30mins to an hour per survey.
So in other words, it takes a lot of patience and time to be earning anything at all!?

The average person is never going to make much by doing the survey thing. And one should NEVER pay to take a survey or join a service that lists the various survey companies.
