I saw this on another forum and thought I would spread the news so people can be careful. I did not remove his name from the posting so as not to take any credit from him. Just wanted to help spread the news so people don't fall for this one.

Okay All,
WARNING - DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS
My wife was reading more about Gabby Giffords (she is CD8 Rep from Tucson) and clicked on a link for World News 13 http://world13news.com/ and thought this was legit.
Thank God she knows my internet knowledge and ran it by me first. The web site is set up to look like a news site, but it has a code that pinponts your IP address and makes it look like someone in your local area is doing this Paid Surveys Site.
IF you click on the World News link above, it will pinpoint your local town and make it look like Kim Barns is in your town (or near by) making a ton of money.
Every link on the site opens in a new window and goes to http://www.paidsurveysandmore.net which is a SCAM.
Further reserch finds that the refund guarantee will not get you a refund of your money, in fact there is no one to contact, and no refund to be had.
People, I urge you to RESERCH, RESERCH, RESERCH and then RESERCH some more. NEVER pay a company for surveys, they should be paying you, not you paying them.
Just wanted to warn you all about this HUGE SCAM, STAY AWAY.

Thanks for the info! I must say that I have never been a fan of the whole paid survey idea.....

I have been doing surveys for about two years now. It is certain you won't get rich from them but quite a few of them are good sites. It is a little extra money. It also depends on where you live if you have kids if you have a medical condition etc. I don't qualify for alot of them because of that. But as I said I do make some money and I also test products which is kind of fun.

Paid online surveys are a great way to make a little extra spending money. I have been taking them for about 2 years and have made over $3000 for over 13 survey companies. If you want to really make money with them you must sign up for several companies at once. There are many scams like the ones listed above, but there are many legit one as well. Just make sure you NEVER pay to sign up with any survey company.
