Ironing Business Questions

I realize I should buy an iron, ironing board, advertise etc...but not sure about legalities, taxes, insurance etc...Is there anyone out there with advice? Also, I think I will charge by the piece and will call my local launderers to see what they are charging, but I'm interested in knowing exactly what some of you "iron women" are charging?
