I turned on the internet this morning and MSN is the first thing that pops up. Headline is "Americans Face Retirement Disaster."

Important real life facts:

1) 97% of all Americans will retire broke dependent on family, government, and friends by the age of 65.
2) 10,000 baby boomers are retiring a day
3) 99% of all Americans will pass away with less than $1000 cash in the bank.

Don't believe me here is the article:
http://articles.moneycentral.msn.com/learn-how-to-invest/warning-retirement-disasters-ahead.as px

Here is one key quote from the article....."We're headed for a retirement train wreck," he adds, "and it's going to get really ugly over the next 15 years."

Way to many people are caught up in one-time pay cyclers biz oppty/programs, that have zero history of establishing "walkaway" monthly residual income.

Way to many people are just focused on direct sales with affiliate marketing and not establishing "walkaway" monthly residual income.

Way to many people are participating in network marketing business opportunities thinking they can build "walkaway" monthly residual income in a networking business, but don't realize that to create a 4-5 figure monthly income you need thousands to 10's of thousands of team members on your team.

Here's the deal, if you are working a business that will always take YOU working the business to make money, you are on a course for income problems potentially down the road like the many americans facing a retirement disaster. The oldest person in the world died the other day she was 114 years old:
http://www.nydailynews.com/news/world/2010/11/04/2010-11-04_worlds_oldest_person_eugenie_blanc hard_dead_at_114_years_old.html?r=news

Question, what if you live that long, is what you doing now, still potentially going to bring you in a nice income when you are 100, when you can't do it like you are doing it now? The answer for most people is a resounding no, even if they make it to age 75. Thus the time to take action to resolve that is NOW, not HOPEFULLY later.

You don't have to stop anything that you are doing that you love but you may want to seriously consider diversifying your income with an opportunity that can create a nice 4-5 figure MONTHLY residual income in a short period of time with a small team.

That is what I've learned must be done after 16 years of fooling around with network marketing, I finally "got it" and now have a system in place not just for me to win, but for the average and ordinary person to achieve success of 4-5 figures in monthly residual income working from home.

Effective use of your time in the present to manifest a great future is Wisdom!

I will expand on that retirement bit. We have retirees that have paid off their home but lose them because they can't afford the taxes!! Shouldn't be that way.

I watch a tv show where one man got 970.00 a month and had to live on it. Could you live on that?? What would you have to give up? some senior have to decide on whether to buy their persciption medication or eat. What kind of choice is that?

I am looking to build up my income. But Free Cash Man has a valid point in unless you keep doing the job or selling whatever the income stops. Why not build it once and have it pay for the rest of your life. To me that makes more sense.

We need to take our future into our own hands and do something about it ourselves. Nobody is going to do it for us. And for those that arn't getting ready to retire or even close to it. Take these words of wisdom and start now for your retirement. I don't think it will be there much longer so you will have to do it on your own.

Sadly it takes 2+jobs to make ends meet now and things keep going up.

I have a hard time watching the news.

I just go about building my business without those kinds of distractions.

When is the last time you watched the news and heard anything good?

I definitely do not recall hearing anything worthwhile. I just haven't been too keen on working a job for the rest of my life, as the only successful people I know run their own businesses.

One person I know spent $210,000 on college and is making almost 80K per year in the medical field and she has no home.

This world just confuses me which is why I stay away from watching the news, regardless of how interesting it is, and continue to share my business with as many people as possible.

totally agree with you man people spend crazy amounts on college only to earn that fixed amount and they dont own hardly anything.

Im no pro at network marketing yet still learning all that i can but i want to expand on the retirement bit i currently work at a rest home to support me in my network marketing business ( God only knows how i ended up here ) you wont believe what i see and experience in there....every single person in there is basicly broke they tell me storys of how they lost there lost there homes and every thing they own and how they rely on there family members to provide for them and to be reduced to small room where they live, it's like a prison cell they pay for! i swear to god that will not be me if people could only see this what they will be reduced to if they follow the masses they would rethink the path that they are on very very seriously.

I want to quit working at that job soooo bad it drives me so hard everyday marketing my business i cant wait to experience the day and i can look in the mirror and say i am financally independant!

Thanks for sharing the facts FreeCashMan

Yes that is more true than people realize. People can't wait for retirement because they are tired or hate their job etc. Unless you have built up for your retirement you will be sadly disappointed. SS will not support you. Make sure to protect yourself and your inheritance because if you can't pay the bills the gov will come after your house and any assets you have to help pay for things.

yes and once you start building a side business and get it built up diversify for sure!! Very important there. I have been in a business that was no longer a business so guess what happened with the income. We need to pay attention to what is happening nowadays and learn from it. That is the real education. Dean you are getting a first hand education yourself and you are learning from it thankfully.

Also another word of advice know what kind of income you will need to live comfortably because there are always articles out there that say more money needed for retirement. Some people think that 7 million a year isn't considered rich anymore. (I wish I had that problem )

This thread really got my attention since I recently lost a huge income from making money on AdSense and ClickBank. Making money online and making residual income are two different things.

Google literally shut down my sites by de-indexing them all. They are no longer found on Google search engine. My sites traffic were literally 99% from Google. I went from $100+ daily to like $5 a day.

That's why residual income is the way to go as I am doing pretty well with that right now.

A residual income is the only way to go if your ever want to get ahead. I also foun an opportunity that you can collect a tangible asset as well.

I'm talking about silver.
lasy year 1 troy ounce of silver traded at about $15-$18, today it was trading bewtween $37-$38 per troy ounce.

ISN coins provides a very clear choice as to product and to payplan.
