Hi everyone,
I have joined a company with a great product based on new technology but am having a problem meeting people and closing the deal.
I'm hoping someone can help me with finding good leads. I know the product works because we purchased it and have used it on myself, my wife and on several other people. You experience a deference within 5 minutes of using this product and people are amazed but again I don't seem to have the closing part down or the finding new leads as well.
I am using YouTube, Face book & Twitter but it seems everyone is more interested in selling me their product instead of being interested in mine.
This is such an interesting product that actually helps people so I really am not looking for something new, I just need some good ideas on how to market it.
Thanks everyone,
Gary

you need to market. there are plenty of ways to position yourself where people WANT what you are selling but you have to go about it the right way.
it's not all about closing. If you can warm up your prospects to understand how YOU can help them. this is the key to success.

If you just explain to your prospects why you use the product(s) in a nice way like talking about your favorite sport or tv show. That is how I approach it. I don't use technobabble just easy stuff like it got rid of my pain, fixed my (blank).

I think part of the key is confidence. When you start out its hard to make a sale, but as you begin closing deals, your momentum picks up and start closing more and more. Some of that is knowledge, and learning best practices, but I think a lot is all in your attitude and how you approach people.

My 2 cents...
There are many ways to get some buzz and get qualified leads for your product in the Internet.
(1) Search Engine Power: Google, Yahoo and Bing are always looking for NEW content to rank in their search results. It all comes down to doing a VERY targeted keyword research and using those search phrases to create content about your product. Whenever people find this content valuable, they'll check out your site and buy from you.
(2) Social Media: Social Networks like Facebook and Twitter are GREAT places to connect with others, build strong relationships and get potential customers trust first...then you can talk about your deal and how it can solve a problem they might have. (Facebook alone has 500+ active users!)
So, there you have 2 approaches with this...Be sure to know your product to a T and give value without want.
Cesar

Find your target market or research for it. There is no point selling beef to a vegetarian no matter how good the beef is. Research your target market and you will never regret.
