You sell yourself to your wife or husband, you sell yourself to an employer.

You are correct. You do sell yourself to prospects as well.

However you are selling yourself as someone that can be their leader and help them. It is done most easily through a process.

I personally don't believe in selling the opportunity though. I think that builds weak downlines.

Plus collecting a decision is easier for everyone. They want it or they don't. Why try to sell someone something that doesn't want it? We are looking for business partners not sales.
