Hey guys the MLM Librarian here. Do you know the secret formula for PPC marketing? If you follow this formula I guarantee you will not lose your shirt.
1. You need to do the math and find out what each prospect is worth in relation to how much you will earn in upfront commission from your respective companys when you recruit the prospect on your team. For example, if your yearly income for one recruit assuming they do not duplicate is $160.00 and it takes 100 visitors to your site that opt in to get one recruit then your cost per click would be $1.60. Now if it takes 5 visits before 1 opts into your site then we have to take this in queston as well. ($1.60/5prospects = $0.32 click)
Now we should only be bidding .32 a click. If you want to take more risk you could bid higher. Generally if you stay in this range you can stay safe .30-.67 cents a click.
2. 90% research 10% placing ads
Google and amazon are good places to start in your research. Try to stay away from generic keywords like "MLM" "Financial Freedom" Work At Home" Network Marketing. They will produce alot of clicks but very few targeted leads, also everybody and his brother are using these keywords. A tool that has been helpful to me is Adword Analyzer. It gives me keywords that people have searched while using google and msn over the past month. It also gives me the cost per click people are paying. I use this info to find targeted niches where I can place my ads. It saves me time and money. The software is currently priced at $77.00 but I personally think its worth it.
Focus on researching different Gurus and all their products, use these keywords, also titles of books, mispelled names, urls. All of these are perfect keywords.
Remember 90% research and 10% placing ads and your on the right track.
Hope this helps!

I agree library! Although I haven't done PPC in the past few months, I know how helpful it is and used correctly, can and will produce good results. I have built some of my best downlines usuing those methods, like mentioning dani Johnson in my links and ad.. and then offering dani johnson free leads to all that join ect.. incentive to join, and immediate attention to the new member to help them get started.
Thanks for the info!

Good advice, MLM Librarian.
I also like Perry's book as well as "Google Adwords for Dummies" which you can get at most book stores. Perry Marshal interviewed that author recently. (That's one of things I love about Perry Marshall--he's not afraid to introduce and promote a competitor's work if he thinks it will benefit his members.)
You can lose a lot of money fast with PPC--I know that from learning it the hard way! Thus, stuydying Adwords and other PPC programs in detail is important.
All the Best,
Mark

But you never know when Google will "slap" again. I don't even need Google for long term passive income.

When Google changes their rules or algorithms it takes some adjusting but it's certainly not insurmountable.

I personally stay away from PPC. I just don't think the ROI is there. Even with good research, I think there are better ways to spend your advertising dollars. More and more these days, people tend to click on the natural search results rather than on sponsored links. I know i do.
Our team works together and buys ads in well respected publications, such as HBC magazine, or True Wealth. We run targeted email campaigns, and utilize social networking methods such as forums, blogs, etc. I like to use articles. I'm not putting down people who use PPC, I'm just saying it's not for me.

I love PPC, but I agree, you can't just jump in without fully understanding it. I knew nothing about PPC until I joined the business I'm currently with and he has about 15 videos in the back showing you step by step exactly how to do PPC. It's totally opened my eyes and it's my preference now, but I'm not losing money on it either. Just have to educate yourself on it before trying it out. It still does work very well.

I was really frustrated with my ppc results before I joined a company that recently showed me how to maximize ppc.
