Just an interesting note, BookWise has now surpassed $189,000 dollars donated to children's charities!!! How awesome is that! This is truly an amazing company!

I just now saw the thread here on Bookwise. I vowed I would not join anything else because I have found my true passion and it is in Cooperative Marketing, which is like a cross between owning your own franchise or home biz and an MLM. I dropped other things I am in because I will only represent very honest, doable, and long term biz opps now. THEN I saw BOOKWISE! I was lucky enough to have Bill Arnold, who talks to Robert Allen constantly and is a top Team Leader who does numerous online training sessions. Many have joined this team just for the Internet Marketing 101 training he gives. He does not believe in paying for advertising, so trains based on this. He also tells people they can pay for advertising, etc. but encourages people to learn everything and do it on their own. I found with the amounts going to charity, the strong financial backing of the founders, and the fantastic product - primarily books, this is something I want to have in conjuntion with my other opp. They are a nice compliment to each other and will certainly never go out of vogue!!! Bookwise will be expanding to Canada soon by the way. Bill surprized me because I told him what my passion is and he mentioned that if people try with Bookwise he does put people under you. Well, surprize, surprize, he did put 2 under me already. THAT is another great thing with Bookwise, and one of the reasons I decided to join - you can place people wherever you want!!!! THAT IS FANTASTIC! I believe in working as a team, and this sure is the way to do it.
The pay plan is exceptional. A. You get $39 every time you personally enroll a new associate, no matter where they are placed in your matrix. B. You get a percentage of those same people's bookstore sales. C. The unilevel payouts (this is the chart with the 9 levels) are based upon the $39 monthly fee. So people on your first level, you will get 2% of their $39 monthly fee. People on your second level you will get 4% of thier $39 monthly fee, (see compensation plan for more details on percentages) D. You get matching commisisons on the people who you enroll's unilevel commissions. So if Sally is under you and she gets a check each month for $200 for just her unilevel commissions, you get that same $200 check each month just from her! If you have 10 people make $200 each anywhere below you that you've sponsored, you will recieve $2,000 in matching bonuss alone, plus the other unilevel commission from people you did not personally sponsor, plus A, B, and C's payouts! See why BookWise is so Great?!
I have not been in this as long as some in this thread, but I agree this is a good biz opp and very reasonably priced.

I am in BookWise, and it is one of the two organizations I am a part of that handles Books. But its because I LOVE BOOKS. I find the benefits and products are great. While I don't know the founders personally like some on this board, I have not done bad with this company at all. I've had more preferred customers and associates sign then with any other company I've done. I love BookWise!

gracia: So, you are saying that membership costs $39.95 each month? How do you get past that high cost?
That's not a high cost. I am in The Berry Tree, an incredible opportunity with a monthly cost of $55.95. I don't consider that high, either, not when there are businesses that expect you to pay more and more, into the thousands to progress up through their compensation plan. Our business never asks more than the $55.95, for which you get one month of the product to use, corporate advertising, multiple prospecting and training websites, awesome customer support, a very profitable compensation and profit sharing plan, etc.
I look at it this way, does routine maintenance stop people from buying cars, or do health club fees stop people from working out? Do franchise costs to own a McDonalds, a Subway or a Starbucks prevent people from buying into those businesses? So why should it seem inordinately high to have membersip fees in the $30 to $ 50 range? I don't get it. I will keep paying my fee and keep working my business, and most of all, keep having fun doing it. It's fun when you know you have a winner, and you have the ability to make so many people's lives better!
