I always worry that I can't come up with original content. Surely any topic I write about has been hashed over many times!
How do you come up fresh ideas, especially if you are trying to penetrate a heavy market?
any suggestions?
till next time....

I just find what other people or websites have written about the same subject and take a similar approach and put things into my own words.

Hi Sundown,
If you know your topic well, it shouldn't be a problem at all. That's part of the wisdom in writing what you know about and love.
Additionally, you can be inspired by anything and everything - a commercial, another article, a conversation, dreams, thoughts, books, forums, whatever. The only limit is your own imagination.
You can penetrate any market you want as long as you can think outside the box.

I use my experiences and read those are the main two. If you're new to article marketing then you may need to read more articles to see how they do their resource box and how they structure it. You can learn a lot this way. Sonni

I read somewhere, I think on this forum, where people find videos on Youtube and get ideas from the videos they watch. Now THAT is a great idea!

Hello sundown16,
One way to find inspiration is offline. This will help you write unique content. You may try magazines, books on topic, speak with others, the library is a great place, and many overlook this because we love our online world.
Have fun! Victoria

I have found that reading other articles in the niche you are trying to work in helps inspire ideas. See what others have to say on topics of interest, then try to spin those ideas with your own experiences.

I would read books related to a topic of your preference. Then, I will note down important points. I will then organize these points and turn them into an article WITH MY OWN WORDS to make the content original.

Go to top directories like Ezine Articles. Type in the topic of an article you want to write about.
The articles that are at the top you should model your article after theirs. Do not Copy. Just model it and get ideas from that article.
Ex ( Check out their headline, how many words in the article, keyword usage, etc.)
Hope this helps.

I second that. You can get a lot of ideas from top directories, especially Ezine Articles.
Writing doesn't come easy to everyone, but the more you practice the easier it will become.

Sonni: I use my experiences and read those are the main two. Right on! (Do people still use that expression?)
If you look closely at the above statement you'll notice that the first six words cover the ONLY ways to get ideas in general. When you merge the knowledge of experience with new information, you ignite sparks of creativity.
If you learn how to tune in to your environment you'll realize that it's constantly feeding you all kinds of data. You can condition your awareness to filter in whatever information you may need to help you with any task.
And like many things in life, the more often you do something, the more adept you become at doing that thing.

There are two rules you could do to create a interesting article...
1) Read many articles and websites related to the niche.. 2) If you doubt any way repeat rule 1
As simple as this....

I agree with samd, you need to be comfortable enough with the topic that you are generating article ideas as you watch TV, take a shower, sleep, on your communte, any free time you have should have your brain looking for new ways to discuss your topic and get more information out there for people to discover.

Hi,
I think you can go to your products website, most of them
have affiliate link on their website, you can click them, you will
see all the information, and good contents you can write on your
articles.
Or you can find others article with similar topic, and get idea from
their keyword, and tweak it little bit, and writie in your own word.
I hope this helps
HAppy day~^^

I've often heard it said that there's no original ideas left any more, everything has already been done.
I write for a living and generally find hat the best way to come up wit something fresh is to take an idea which may have already been done, but one which I can offer a different angle on.
It doesn't always work, but if you can channel your own experiences or those of someone you know into an article, you can give something which may have been done to death a new lease of life.

Just another point to add. Read as many articles as you can and gather ideas of what they have left out. And you would get a lot of those...
