I would like to know what do you think about the following business model for affiliate marketing, which is more effective?

i) targeted traffic --> affiliate review page --> e-course (the whole course is posted on the web page e.g. part 1, part 2 and part 3) --> promote affiliate products

ii) targeted traffic --> affiliate review page --> e-course (using autoresponder e.g. 7 series of e-course to be sent over 7 days) --> promote affiliate products

If model i) were to be adopted, what is best to be sent to the subscribers of my list?

Thank you for your advice.

Hi Gary,

Option 1 vs. 2 depends upon the quantity and quality of what you already have on your site as well as your trust and authority level. It also depends upon how many loyal readers you have.

In regards to the last bit, it's hard to say what you should send to your list beyond something useful.

Too many variables to be more specific.

You'll need a good following, trust level, and a good amount of quality content before you can try to sell to your back end (list).

Share useful content with your list - slip in a few affiliate links as you do wish, without trying to sell...

Thanks guys for your quick and awesome advice.

I am actually into a real estate related niche, my list is small (slightly more than 200 subscribers, built over the last 9 months)

I made some sales using this model i) mentioned above, but my problem now is how to make more sales from my list, and hence the question of what is best to be sent to them

I did try to send some useful information that I compiled in a form of special report embedded with my affiliate link. But it doesn't work. No sale was ever made from these information.

Maybe Newbie Shield is right that I need to send a good amount of information before I can try to sell them again.

Thanks again, guys.

I recommend you to go for first option. I really dont have more pointers to say, but I feel option 1 will bring you more revs.

Can anyone help me? I am new to forums and don't know how to use them (besides the obvious looking around and responding to interesting material). I have just started internet marketing from home and need a lot of advice. HELP!!

Hi akaobrien,

What help are you looking for exactly? There are different sections of the forum for different topics. Also, there are some free ebooks and resources available for you to read and get a lot of "education" that will help you make progress.

If you have specific questions, ask them in the forum and other members will try to help you out if they can.

Blessings,
Angie

Welcome D - it all depends, some of us are here because we are hopelessly addicted to wah forums, we kinda lounge around and chit chat about all kinds of stuff, kinda like sitting around sipping coke and discussing how to do things , others of us are here because we are promoting some work at home thingie, what better place to be scribbling on the walls than in a work at home room , still others are looking for help and believe me, there are a ton of things you can learn on here, from all angles.... so we kinda timidly tip toe around and finally dare to speak up and ask some how-to's...

Then are those that come in and without much of a 'howdy', just shout out to the whole room why their work at home thingie is so much better than Joe's over there and how all of us should really drop it all and follow their plan... beings it is just now in pre-launch, and it will be THE biggest deal ever... We usually let their words echo around and bounce off the wal, and then we go on with our business...

But, yeah, I am so glad you found us. We are not all geeks, most of us are actually real people....just hanging out and having fun with this wonderful thing called the internet.

That visual image made me laugh out, especially the part about letting
their words "echo around and bounce off the wall" because it so true.

Thanks for your responses. To be honest, I am just looking for advice. For those who are actually trying to sell a product online, what is the best way to get the word out? You have a website, but how do you get people to look at it? Are there better sites to advertise then others? Well, of course there are...but do you all know of any? Has anyone here had success stories or do you just laugh at how many internet marketers there are out there LOL.
