Hi all

I am testing my landing pages for one of the niche that I am currently focusing on.

Say for example I plan to have 100 articles to be posted on Ezinearticles.com for the next 1 month. And I would like to test the effectiveness of my landing pages.

Below is what I am going to do:

first 50 articles - point to landing page 1 (http://www.mydomain.com/index1.html)

second 50 articles - point to landing page 2 (http://www.mydomain.com/index2.html)

Just wondering how would it affect the serps compared to if all 100 articles were to point to my index page (i.e. http://www.mydomain.com)?

Thanks for your replies.

You can actually point them ALL to both landing pages and see what converts better that way as well... you can have two links in your sig box...just a suggestion

Although the second option sounds much better (pointing all articles to your domain name) and, I guess, doing some programming to split test landing pages, I think it is not a good idea. If you keep changing the content of your site pages, search engines might frown and may de-list you.

On the other hand, if your site is only going to have a landing page, it's much difficult to rank in serps. So you would be better off doing split testing and show search engines the door.
