So I have a wonderful ... and yet FRUSTRATING problem.
I did not set up adsense channels when I first started building my SBI site so now I have some clicks that are over $3 a click but I don't know which ones they are... argh!
Can anyone tell me if I go in and change the adsense code on all my pages that don't have the tracked codes on them... will they be indexed right away?

Once you've added the updated code on your pages you should see Google ads almost immediately. They may be public service ads at first. Otherwise, it could take hours for the Google robots to crawl your pages and determine the appropriate targeted ads to place there.

I haven't used channels much either. I basically named the code according to site, size, and location on the page, but not for each individual page.
Yes, there are times I'd like to know which pages are earning what, but with the hundreds of pages across my various sites, I can only imagine what my adsense account would look like and the tedium of creating a separate code for every single page.
I decided a long time ago that it just wasn't worth the effort, as fun as it would be to know. Of course the financial advantages of knowing are that you can try driving more traffic to those high earning pages.
Have fun with it! Blessings, Angie

True that! What I started doing is set up channels for some of the tighter niches within my site and it is helping.
At least I have SOME idea where some of the nice $3 and $4 clicks are coming from...so I can try to capitalize on them...

This should happen right away with no problem.
