After I bookmarked my websites to 100 social bookmarking websites, I could notice a huge difference in traffic for many days. This also helped me in conversions at those days.

I had hired an experienced person to do the job of submission, and the amount spent on this was really worth.

Now I want to do this again. But, are there any ways to submit the same websites to those social bookmarking websites and get the traffic and conversions again and again? Are there any suggestions to do this?

I am planning to create blogs and display products there. Then I will be able to submit those blogs to these websites. Will this help?

You know, I think there is something like a free "social bookmarking submitter" or something to that effect out there somewhere - just do a search on Google and you will should find it.

How much time did you spend for submitting to the social bookmarking websites ?

Could we submit the same site to the social bookmarking sites repeatedly?

Onlywire.com will allow you to bookmark to several social directories at one time. Then be sure to bookmark some more to the main ones like StumbleUpon, Google Bookmarks, Yahoo Marketing, Windows Live Digg, and Netscape .

Over time these bookmarks serve as excellent search engine bait as well as the traffic you get from the various social directories and people reading them.

How in the world did you submit yourself to 100 social bookmarking sites? I didn't even know there were that many. You've definitely piqued my interest. How do I get a list of these 100 bookmarking sites?

Thanks.

One tip - don't just send your offer pages - too spammy - send some pages you personally like along with your sales pages - that way you don't look like an Internet Marketer.

I'm still wondering how this person submitted to 100 social bookmarking sites. Also, where would I find a list of these 100 bookmarking sites? Is this for a real, or a joke?

Thank you, Victoria

I have found a site where you can submit to 47 social bookmarking sites.
http://www.socialmarker.com

But you need to create accounts for all the sites.
I think it is worth the work.

Social bookmarking is a subset of social networking. Though there may have been 100 or more social networking sites (or at least 100+ web 2.0 sites) back then, I doubt there were as many as 100 social bookmarking sites per se at the time of this original post.

"Social Bookmarking" is the equivalent of an online version of favorites (MS IE) or Bookmarks (Mozilla Firefox). It's like a shared or "social these sites are mega-cool, check 'em out" kind of thing.

Furthermore, the author of this thread lasted for a total of two posts in total and since June of 2007, so, the author of this thread has little if any authority. Why raise it from the cemetery where it obviously belongs?

Social bookmarking and social networking are a necessary part of your marketing campaign. I bookmark my blog posts to diggs, furl, stumble upon and others using posttoaster and onlywire. At the beginning I did not understand it and how to use it and I am still learning. I just joined my space and facebook as well.

So, does one need to spend time on these creating profiles other than the basic log in information?
I have begun to use Onlywire last week, of course I had to create a very basic 30 second account with each) and did have a lot of traffic for a couple of days.
Thank you so much,
Victoria

Traffic from social bookmarking sites is notoriously transient and converts horribly because of it. You may see a traffic spike, but you'll see a higher bounce rate, lower average time on site, and fewer pages viewed/visitor.
