Anyone mind sharing a brief overview of their system for making money from home?
Ex:
1. Find a great keyword using whateverkeywordtool.com 2. Write 5 articles and post to whateversubmission.com 3. Make a blog/lens/video/slide/whatever and submit to whatever.com 4. Post at whateverforum.com with whatever signature etc etc
I don't have any step by step plan of action to speak of... Got some great products that are easy to promote but looking to make the most of my time when promoting my websites.
I put a lot of faith in lists. Many of you may agree that it's easier to accomplish larger goals if they're broken down into a solid path that defines minor success which can be repeated time and time again.
I'm not asking for anything big, or any 'secrets' you've paid for, just a checklist that has proven useful for you, that we can all benefit from in our own ways.
Thank you soooo much in advance for your time :) :) I hope this thread travels far!!

I use the OWMP as most of you know as it has a plan such as what you are talking about and I will try to give some input here without giving away all her secrets...
1) Do keyword research with the seobook.com (free keyword tool) - dig around, this is your MOST important step, then using the chosen keywords...
2)set up a few Squidoo lenses
3)write articles with the exact same keywords
4)set up a blog
5)Then do a variety of things depending on the products - place a few classifieds at usfreeads or craigslist - dig your lens - clipclip it if you have a movie on your lens or blog - write more articles - post to your blog once a week.... go to yahoo-answers and answer some questions then leave your link in the 'source box'....
The ways to promote a campaign once it is out there is endless, really...
Great topic!
edited to add that it is really important to link everything together - lens, blogs, articles all need to be linking to each other...

Hi Lars,
Write about what you know and love. You owe it to your visitors. There is no other way that is ethically viable and acceptable. Don't fall for the sleazy mainstream advice - cash is king.
Pick something that you will enjoy writing about every day for two or more years and provide wicked value for you visitors.
Don't ever focus on income - only value for your visitors. Shun any program that teaches differently. Instead, look down your nose at those who promote otherwise for they are egocentric.

I whole heatedly agree with this. I know this is easy to come from someone who has enough money but trust me, in the end, what matters most is the satisfaction you derive from what you do and not how much you earn. If you are here to just make money, you are wasting your life. You may argue that you'll work hard, make lots of money and then do what you like. It does not always work that way. Once you are caught up in this money race, it becomes next to impossible to pursue your passion. It's like leaving an ice cream or chocolate after the first bite

Picture perfect. I couldn't say it any better if my life depended upon it.

There seems like an unwritten rule out there. If you're desperate to make money... you ain't gonna be able to sell nuthin'.
I know.
