Most of us neglect or resist to market our website offline. Most of us are interested in advertising our website in internet and internet based platform.

But a big jackpot lies in marketing offline. You can easily market your website offline for an affordable cost. You get a good conversion rate as competition in offline marketing is less. So go ahead and market your website offline and feel the difference. You can just start off with a penny and test it.

That is great advice!

Ideas include classified ads in the newspaper, putting up posters on community boards while doing your errands, a postal mail-out, and signs for your car. I've also used business cards! Whenever I am in a restuarant, and leave a tip, I leave the tip on a business card. Leave business cards everywhere! And it's very cheap.

In my community, there is also flat screen TV's placed in coffee shops, elevators, malls etc where you can purchase ad space (I think it's $350 per location for about 1 minute of time for six months).

There are many options depending on how much advertising $$ you can afford.

Think about Coke, and how often you see it's name. Get your info out there, everywhere! The more people see it, the more they remember it!

Good point, Sam. Offline marketing is often overlooked by online marketers. Even though the cost in terms of time, money, reach and return may not be as attractive as its online counterpart, getting the word out offline can have positive results.

There is definately some potential with offline marketing, but you have to make sure that your advertising is targeted. For example, you could place advertisements in magazines that are directed at a very SPECIFIC audience, and you also need to make sure you have an easy to read domain name, preferably a dot com.

Offline Marketing, it works! I am using two methods everyday. A nice sticker on the back of my car, and some short ads printed on the front-back of my T-Shirt.

Voice Broadcasting is working miracles for my business. I have the ability to generate 20-30 red hot leads on a daily basis. This system does all of the sifting and sorting for me. I literally contact thousands of people everyday with the push of a button. I don't chase leads, leads chase me. I only talk to prospects who are interested in my opportunity. My income has skyrocketed since I began utilizing this system.

Hello all,

I have had a sticker made for the back of my car (not put it in yet). My question is how do you know if you are getting any traffic from that sticker or T' shirts or business cards? How can you track it?

Hi Barb

You can never track the visitors coming due to offline marketing. But you can compare the data before and after offline marketting and you can have a wild guess. Either do this or follow the tactics below

Eg: You have a website named www.abcd.com

Create a exact copy of your website in another folder like www.abcd.com/pqrs

Now in the car stiker use the site www.abcd.com/pqrs and now you can track the exact members who come due to offline marketting.

Hope this helps....!!!

Just a QUICK THOUGHT dead space for offline marketing? Bus stops, taxi stands, street post if you still have them, the list go's on speaking of being in restaurant's above, Ponder the little piece of paper that sits under your plate if that's still what they do.

Offline marketing works for some products, but is not very useful for others

I agree with Getagrip......offline marketing can be effective when you're advertising to your target market.

Just like online marketing, you'll see much better results when you market to your target market.

Targeting your audience is of course the most important thing to do when marketing your business. But just like internet marketing it's about numbers and efficiency or conversion. I've seen many different tatics that get sales and offline marketing is definitely a great way to sell online. Even schools and libraries can provide potential customers hit notice boards where ever you go they are free!

Great point! Sometimes people forget that Direct Marketing was a method entrepreneurs used for ages before the internet was alive. Copyrighting skills were practiced with classified ads then moved onto magazines ads.

If you want a great edge in marketing and an untapped audience try a hybrid approach mixing offline and online marketing. A flyer with a web address, a postcard with a free ebook link, a classified ad sending to a squeeze page. There are many applications.

Offline marketing certainly still works. When combined with online marketing, your business will absolutely generate more leads, which then will lead to more sales.

but with offline marketing, it is much harder to track effectiveness. So, how can you know the success of it? That's the beauty of online marketing, especially if you have a website that sells something, you can instanlty see the return on the investment

forget "target marketing" when offline - the whole WORLD is your target market

just find a good, inexpensive way to offline market whatever you sell, tell everyone everywhere.

just make sure it's memorable
