I recommend simply setting up a nice squeeze page giving just enough information to tease the person and make them want more.
Give them the official business tour or videos once they put in their information.
That way you generate VERY targeted leads that don't waste your time.. And some will sign up for your business right away.
Good Luck =]
Matt

1) Post articles on Ezine, make sure you have good keywords 2) Create a facebook business page. Post great content 3) Create a blog and update at least 3 times a week. 4) Get a Twitter account and post your facebook page and blog updates on it. Make sure you use 25% of twitter for biz and 75% for other engaging links to share.
Good luck!

Set up a page where the person can opt in for your list and give him or her some good reasons why they should opt-in. What ever you niche is, take a look at others and see what they do. Don't copy them but get some ideas.
Then when everything is in place, start to advertise your site everywhere you can think of.

Write at least one article per day and then post them to several different article directories, join some forums and make posts frequently, set up a ppc campaign, advertise in ezines, and make some videos to upload to places like youtube.

Anand, before you start posting to generate leads, it's also very important to use a way of tracking the leads you generate. You can be all over the place on all sites and blogs but if you don't know where any/all of your serious, quality leads come from then you won't know what area to focus on to keep generating those leads from. Once you have a system set up and in place, make a plan on where you want to post. Hope this helps.

Anand If you have squeeze page and autoresponder and only need traffic tips I suggest sending ezine solo ads. Recently I used Ezysoloads.com and I got nice results: 5 opt-ins per 246 hits. Now I'm testing few free safelists.
Also I bought 35000 visits from BringVisitors.com, but it wasn't so effective- only one person downloaded my free ebook per 36075 hits. Frankly, I was expecting better results.
Also I signed up for few manual traffic exchanges, but if you are a free member, you need a lot of time for surfing for credits. If you invest some money and upgrade your account, you will get free credits and it's more effective. Otherwise you have to spend few hours a day for surfing... You must be careful with sites which you find during surfing- there is a lot of trash unfortunately. Simply don't sign up for everything you find there.
Good ways to get traffic are too: articles, press releases, blog posts. Also I found Twitter very effective, especially if you use some kind of software or online service, which let you follow people automatically, send scheduled tweets and direct messages to new followers etc.

These are all great advice for you, however I would caution you against PPC if you are unfamiliar with it. Atleast in the beginning, I would focus on more free methods if you are willing to work for your leads. As you become a more proficient online marketer than you can look at PPC, but do your homework: keyword research - research your keywords heavily. Wordtracker is a great tool for SEO and keyword research. Know your budget and don't let your emotions get the better of you! Goodluck!

I use traffic exchanges still. I also do advertising co-ops. Essentially, the co-ops are just higher exposure in traffic exchanges that costs a lot less than purchasing credits and hoping you get results.
Solo ads are great if you can write good copy. I have 1 ad with 2 different subjects that works well. Keep your ads simple and track them.
Track everything you do. I use NPN and Trafficwave for my tracking.
I would not suggest buying leads or traffic unless its an advertising co-op. PPC is great but learn TONS before you get started. Also look for special advertising credit offers.
Video marketing is great. Just keep your videos to the point and give a lot of value to your viewers. Think how can I help them?
You should have more than enough on your plate to start generating plenty of leads now!
