Hey guys,
Express advertising basically involves advertising everywhere you can and as much as possible. You could advertise in/on
- forums
- free classified sites
- your own blog
- other peoples blogs (they should be in the same niche as you)
- articles sites e.g. ezine articles
- social sites e.g. facebook
- question sites e.g. yahoo answers

Maybe you could create a timetable, saying when you will do what.

Advertising is the key to get lots of traffic to your website. However, to make it convert into sales, any advertising you do should be relevant to your website.

Best of luck,
Shiva

Is this a product?
Or you are just listing your opinions on advertising.

Yes. This is true. No advertise, no sales

There is a difference between providing quality content and advertising. Just posting link spam everywhere on the internet isn't going to do the trick - you need to provide value.

Hi,
Sorry, I should have been a bit more clearer, my bad!

First of all, this is my opinion, and of course I'm not trying to advertise a product. I just found that this works for me. Of course, I totally agree with getagrip, the rule of thumb is providing quality content.

Sorry,
Shiva

Getting your product in front of the masses is the key to successful marketing whether online or off. Providing quality content is important but if no one sees it you probably won't be very successful. It's a delicate balance to say the least between getting your web site out there and providing value.

This is an interesting one...

You do have to grab people's attention somehow... but not necessarily the masses.

This is where the niche stuff comes in - grab the attention of a smaller crowd of people who are actively searching for your niche product and you'll get a higher sales conversion.

Alternatively, take on the big boys and hope to get a tiny slice of the market... though you'll improve with experience and maybe increase that slice over time...

It's all choices to make, strategies to decide upon... but that's what makes it fun.

Good luck guys!

Hi Shiva,

Those are all classic and valid branding avenues. They are all good for driving traffic as well.

Nice list.

I'd like to make it clear that it's best to focus on quality content and interaction rather than blasting with volume.

I'm not sure that referring to it as "Express" is the healthiest or most helpful label but you certainly tapped a nice avenue with your list--well done.

I agree SPAM is not the way to go.
