Hi Viola,
I just got the Renegade Marketer book a couple of weeks ago. It is pretty good. I am going to incorporate Ann's techniques into my next SBI site as I plan to monetize, in part, with some NM products.

Did you see the contest and whatnot going on with SBI and Renegade Marketing? I don't expect to win, but I thought it would be a great opportunity to take advantage of the free coaching and see if I couldn't build a really good NM site.

The Renegade system and backoffice is set up really well. I don't know how much I will actively promote that side of things as an affiliate at this point, but perhaps when things are farther advanced with site #3 I'll devote a little time to it.

It is always easier to speak from an advanced position. At least then you have an idea what in the world you are talking about .

So, did you get the book? What did you think?

happywife,
I did get it then and have used a lot of her tips and ideas but have been so busy building my SBI site now that I haven't read it for awhile -

As far as the contest with SBI, is it too late to register for that??

Actually, it was thru Ann's stuff that I decided to build my SBI site!

Keep me posted on how you like the book!

I tried it some time ago. Nice little marketing system but I moved on. Not sure how much money you are going to make with it, but if you like it try it.

No, it's not too late. You have to be registered by Feb. 6. There are specific rules/guidelines for your site to qualify for the contest, though.
You can read them in the forum to see if it is something you can live with.

The idea is to combine the Renegade concept with your SBI site to build a NM business using that site and the SBI principles.

I like the book, but a lot of it didn't really "apply" to me, so to speak since I've never been active in an NM/MLM business before. I didn't already have the mindset and experiences she was describing. I suppose that is to my advantage in a lot of ways. She does seem to know what she is doing, though.

Nice little marketing system but I moved on.

It is a nice setup and will probably be profitable if you market it in the right way and to the right target audience. I expect it will continue to grow in popularity over the next few years because of the innovation of combining content rich niche sites to bring in targeted warm leads to grow your NM business.

I may try to incorporate promoting the actual Renegade System in future as an additional income stream. There are just so many hours in a day, and I'm using the majority of them up already.

I don't know how you are doing with those programs in your sig., but you may have been better off sticking with Ann's system instead of moving on.

Oh boy, does that sound familiar!

I guess that's why I hadn't checked out the contest yet, to be honest!

Thanks - I guess I'll go check it out...

Viola,
I saw your entry into the contest. Good for you. I just activated my new site yesterday that I will be using for the contest. Oh my word - a long way to go, with so many blank pages staring at me. (ha ha)

I look forward to it, though. I wish you all the best. I hope you do really well.

By the way, if you haven't listened to the first teaching webinar, you will find it in your renegade back office under Bonus ebooks, I think.

Blessings,
Angie

Thanks happywife,
I wasn't sure where to go - I'll go listen to that and it will help me get my bearings...

Do I also need to start a new post somewhere on the contest or is that optional??

Now that I entered, I am planning to win - LOL

There are instructions about posting at the beginning of that thread where you entered. Ken tells how to enter (which you did correctly) and how to post related topics. You don't have to make further contest posts unless you want to. You can just tuck into the work.
