Hi,

Can anyone please suggest a good solo advertising service that actually works?

So far I spent allot on solo ads that do not bring results.

Any feedback will be much appreciated.

Thanks.

Solo ads are very much a hit and miss.

The lists are normally not that large and usually everyone on that list will get multiple emails every single day which really dilutes their effectiveness.

And if the lists are not targeted to what you are offering, that further reduces the likelihood that you will get results from your solo ad.

Maybe you can consider ezine ad which is much cheaper than solo ad.

2bucks-an-ad.com is an inexpensive solo ad alternative. You can experiment with various ad copy and mailing lists without breaking the bank.

I'm not sure what a solo ad is, but you could give Usfreeads.com a shot. They offer free ads, but with very limited features, but can get unlimited ads with photos and all kinds of html features for about $10 a month.

I have not been successful with solo ads either, and I agree with Gary about ezine ads.

Or use them for the articles themselves and get the links out there. Use Ezinearticles.com, articlebase.com, goarticles.com, or articlealley.com. Any of these will definitely provide results.

Good luck!

Solo Ads are a waste of money. However, most solo ads are done in ezines because of the targeted traffic they receive.

Some Ezines allow you to submit article for free. You may want to try that instead, or try guest blogging for a site of the same niche. You may also want to check if certain high-ranking blogs in your niche offer advertisements, whether it's a text ad or a banner ad. I've found those have been instrumental in getting me clicks to my site because the traffic is targeted.

A text link ad for one blog I'm promoting on costs me $50 a month. I up the ad two days ago. I already have 56 clicks on my link. A couple entries to my list, too. I'll see how the rest of the month turns out, but 56 clicks in two days is pretty good so far.

I would google "whatevermynicheis" + advertise. See what blogs or sites pop up. Smaller blogs tend to have cheaper ads than bigger blogs with tons and tons of traffic.

Another option is paying an SEO company to write an article and distribute it to a network of article sites. Or have them do a press release. Or you can do your own.

Solo Ads are a waste of money

I highly disagree.

I use solo ads all the time

Thats my main traffic source.

I understand each solo ad source

isn't created equal. But when you

find ones that are working for you

just keep on using them.

Solo ads are not a waste of money

you just have to find the right ones

that are working for you. Meaning

testing and tweaking your ads,

subject lines etc. Anyway some of

the solo ads that are working well for

me are

Topsurfer (solo ad)
Gotsafelist (soload)
Demc ( A Monster For Me)
rent-a-list
planetx

you can give the above a try but
remember you have a different offer,
subject line, product than i do, so
the results will vary
