I have also mentioned this in another post around this forum. If you want to get into making money online, the first place that you should go to is your local bookstore or even amazon.com and get a book called:

Multiple Streams of internet income by Robert G. Allen.

This book is going to teach you a lot of things that are important to your success on the internet.

Get it, read it, and it will help you so much.

Man, that book is awesome.

I was thinking about getting into Option Trading later in my career after reading that book.

Also, Ewne Chia came out with a new physical book. I forget the name, but you can't miss it.

When you are looking for an online job make sure you check into the companies background, a quick google can tell you that, and make absolutley sure they have a physical address, also you must have great training and support available otherwise it is extremly hard to get going. You must also have a passion for what you are doing, this is the difference between success and failure. Take Care.

When you want to learn anything, one of the best and fastest ways is to seek a mentor. Otherwise you will be left to learn all by yourself and you will have a longer learning curve. There are many great marketing training resources but how much time and effort you want to put in is a question that you have to ask yourself, because there is no shortcut or secret to success. The first question is to decide what kind of marketing do you want to get into first. Because many people offer a business in a box and the reality is there is no such thing. When you learn how to market effectively you learn the knowledge and skills that you can apply to any product and/or service.

1. Affiliate Marketing
2. Information Products
3. Business Opportunities / Direct Sales
4. MLM/Network Marketing
5. Direct Mail
6. Misc. / Other

When looking for marketing ideas, make sure you find a company that will allow you to get great training and support on how to market online, without the training it is extremely hard to get going. Hope your business is doing well. Remember to have a passion for what you are doing, this is the difference between success and failure. Take Care.

The first thing you want to do when you start marketing is to set up your own blog or website.

The company may give you a website of your own for orders but it will look like everyone else's site.

Your own blog will set you apart from everyone else marketing the same product. Otherwise they will have no real reason to buy from you instead of another distributor.

If you want to get into marketing you need to set up a budget and work schedule.

You can get access to a lot of free training but you will have to spend some money to get started and for maintenance.

Avenues for training on internet marketing are many. You only need to have basic skills and the disposition to learn.

If you are the type that loves to be taught, you could start with a marketing coach. They are knowledgeable and very easy to learn from. However, you may need to pay a token for this service.

Another way is through E-books. These can be purchased right off the internet easily.

Trial and error is a great way to learn. But it is not only time consuming but it's also unlikely that you will learn enough skills in good time to make money in time. Furthermore, you may fall into the hands of crafty scammers who will surely milk your wallet dry.

Hi,

New here but I saw your post and I have some hard won general advice that might be of use to you. I have been a full time Imer for three years now. The problem that beset me at the start, and I am sure the great majority of people here before they went on to have success was Guru List Syndrome, GLS Basically I was subscribed to every list in the known universe and as a result of my naviety would be bombarded with "shiny, must have, make millions yesterday with your eyes closed and all limbs bound" type breathless emails. This took a while to figure out because when you are new to all of this you buy, read, get excited, draw up a plan and are just about to implement when BAM next email and you think, ohhh, that could help/speed up/be cheaper than my current plan. How to break this??? UNSUBSCRIBE from every guru list you are on. Today. I can think of TWO, maybe guys who lists I stayed on in the end and are worth damn. The rest simply bombard your inbox into submission and you will jump from branch to branch until six months have passed and you have the square root of nothing to show for it

1. Get a plan, any plan, something that makes 10 bucks a day. Stick with it till it makes 10 bucks a day every day for a month.

2. Scale it, outsource it.

3. Invest into your next plan.

From experince, most things in IM take 30 - 90 days to bear fruit, I don't mean the quick money makers we all have in place, I mean an actual business. In relation to your mindset points, which are well made, I found that the first touch of success tended to focus the mindset no end. I have a book here somewhere, somewhere, which offers some practical beat the procrastination type advice. I will dig it out and post on it

Every dollar you invest in yourself makes you more valuable to your prospect. They are only looking for two things primarily.

1. Can you lead me to reaching my dreams or goals.
2. Can you show me how to market (system)

That's it! Think about what you were looking for when you decided to join a company. You may have been excited about the company, but you were inclined to join a "person" not so much a "company".

Jerry
