heres my update.
i recieved my package wich i told them to cancel.
i still havnt recieved my 9.95 refund(i understand that there will be no refund).
i quickly realised that the activation code was "already used".
i e-mailed them and still have not recieved a response.
1 week later.
so i am 3 weeks into my trial and i cant even try the program for myself.
however, my "sponsor did call me to help me get started with my program.
he didnt know i havnt been able to activate my account.
he also didnt know i recieved an email earlier before talking to him, that my account had been "cancelled".
i never activated in the first place!
even if they are not a scam, they certainly are very un-organised!

emanjungle,

Sorry you experienced that sort of difficulty. They really acted like a typical scam outfit. You might contact the BBB and the Attorney General. You might also call American Express.

Perhaps one of these entities can act on your behalf.

Let me tell you about this two bit operation. Problem No. 1: the free cd that costs $10.00. The initial phone call was extremely high pressure used car salesman tactics. They wanted me to sign my life away and a whole bunch of money before I even had a clue who they really were. I activated my account and liked the layout. It was user friendly. I then had some questions. I called and was handed over to the wolves. I was given the riot act because I was not interested in the superstore. After the used car salesman didn't get his way he made a bunch of sounds to let me know that he was annoyed and had no further interest in speaking to me. Wolf number 2 handed me the same act and wanted to know why I would not do it the right way and buy a superstore. I asked why then do you sell a lesser product if it won't work. I was then handed DOWN to tech support "tier level 2" and waited 20 min. for a person. This person was very helpful. And so, overall I am disgusted with this organization before I even started and the box is on it's way back! Bottom line, they start you out with a product that has one leg and a broken ear so you have no choice but to go with the $2000.00-$5000.00 product ( the cost of the super store).

Here is a great IDEA ! ! ! Did you know you can go to anyone of those music download sites and click on the feature where it lets you download programs and get the CD for FREE for REAL ! ! ! When you get the cd just build your web site and get cheap hosting by buying a DOMAIN name, NOT a SUB domain name and it works the same. From someone that has REAL information.

I'm curious to see if you have had any success with this Internet Speedway. It's been a few months since your post.

I have tested Internet Speedway and have concluded it is a scam in the "moral" sense...

They promote the idea that all you have to do is click a few times, build your website and floods of customers will be driven to your website...

there are two problems with this... This is not how the internet works... There are hundreds of millions of websites that nobody has ever, or will ever know about because they dont know how to promote their website to search engines... This is called SEO or search engine optimization... The second problem with this, is your ISpeedway website is written in code that uses a dynamic database, so it is very difficult to get your pages listed on search engines unless you spend thousands of dollars to pay for the top spot for your keyword...

All they supply you with are the products and the website... You are required to shell out a pocket full of cash to promote your website...

Next, they promote the CD as free... Then they get your credit card number for the $9.95 shipping, then they charge you the $69.95 a month for the FULL package price...

This is deceptive marketing...

In conclusion, stay away from this product... Sure some people are making a few thousand a year but is that the goal? to make a few grand a year? NO, the goal is to make tens of thousands, or even hundreds of thousands a year...

Setting up a relationship with dropshippers is not difficult if you just do the research...

Also, building a professional website is easier than you think... There are companies like SBI that do a great job, also, if you know a little coding, there are tons of open source shopping cart options...

Bottom line... you can do everything ISpeedway does on your own for little or no cost (aside from 5 bucks a month hosting)...

I know this is not about the business, but I'm giving some important information regarding the post I'm quoting. The Federal Trade Commssion (USA) has a web page telling you how to get your free annual credit report and it also warns about scammer sites. The web page for the FTC is here:

I just hate to see people get scammed.
