There are a lot of stores out there that are free. If you take the time and look at them, you can tell it was built by an amatuer. Internet speedway other the other hand has a staff a professional designers build your site with a custom logo and it definitley portrays that professional image. In the end you basically rely on your presentation to sel your products, so thats why you'd want to invest in this business opportunity.

Well, anyone that advertises a product FREE and then charges $9.99 for Shipping a CD is Crook and is engaged in Decptive Practise. USPS Rate for Shipping a CD is $2.00 and most Honest Merchants make their software available for FREE download if it is really FREE - like say Microsft, Computer Associates, or Sun. Sounds like that $9.99 is their main source of income. A google search of their Company name brings up this complaint page at the top. Clearly, more people are complaining about this crap than singing their praise. The guy above who says that people complaining about it are stupid - well that guy is probably Internet Speedway Insider. Otherwise, why such name calling for nothing. To me - it does not sound like those people are stupid but only honest and may be they were naive to fall for such scam. FREE CD with $9.99 for S/H are common for most scammers (look on TVs shopping channel). A look at Internet Speedway's website does not reveal what their software actually does and how really it helps. Success stories are everywhere. They are not really convincing. I think, this Internet Speedway is a REAL SCAM. And, yes, I have a Master's Degree in Engineering from a top school. So, you can call me stupid - but scammers really can fool some people for lot of times or lot of people for sometimes. But, they can not really fool lot of people lot of times. So Good Luck - Internet Speedway! Make your Millions but some lawyer will come up with a class action law suite and all your earning will be gone.

I have been with Ispeedway for 6 months now and have not made one red cent. I believe that anyone on this forum that has a positive feed back on Internet Speedway is an IS insider. The choices in the warehouses are laughable. The clothing is horrible unless you wear only combat boots and tank tops! Seriously, I have spent a lot of hours trying to make this work. I knew it would be work and was not afraid of this, however, after 6 months of nothing, I'm frustrated. I am hoping that some attorney will see all of these complaints here and also on "RipOff.com" that will take on a class action suit. I'll be the first to sign on. I signed up with IS in February 06. I am not stupid, but feel stupid for being taken this way. I have compared the items with Overstock.com and Overstock sells the exact same items at my cost! I can't compete with that, no one can. I have complained to them about this and they wanted examples which I provided and still have not heard from them. SCAM. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE AS MANY OF US HAVE. We are not stupid people.

After many months of reading these posts, I must conclude that most people who complain about "scam" are generally those who expected to receive riches with a ten dollar investment, and that the company offering the opportunity must be making millions on these ten dollar shipments, as though the package, shipping, development and content cost the company nothing. Who gets rich on ten dollar offers? Not the company, nor the people who order it only to complain when their ship doesn't come in. ANY business in America requires a SERIOUS investment of time and money. One must take the business seriously, and treat it seriously. From what I've read, the chronic complainers are those who did nothing except order a package, do little or nothing with it, then got online to complain about it. They will, in my opinion, be perpetually unhappy with the realities of life, constantly wish those realities will change, and will eventually be old, disillusioned, angry (and broke) people.

I've read your post, aussie06, that you purchased the Platinum pkg from Internet Speedway. I was told that that pkg gets you a complete turnkey operation only requiring 2-3 hours per week from owner. I am wondering if any of you can reply on that pkg and the reality of "turnkey" as well as money making potential.

aussie,
I'm currently researching in speedway and so is a friend of mine. If you are doing great, what is your website, i'd like to take a look at it. That would tell me more about your success.

Hello

I purchase a setup from internet speedway. I was suppose to recieve a login within 24 hours never happened. Then the package finally came in by that time I lost faith. It only took my personel rep almost three weeks to contact me. When he did I was in a meeting asked him to call me back which he never did. Well now I am getting billed for something I never loaded or activated. 5 payments of 69.95 which I was never informed of. Contacted customer service and they were not only rude threated to send me to collections as well.

Dont Dont DONT USE THIS COMPANY

I almost started with internet speedway. The problem is, when you try to sell the same products Wal-Mart sells, you will loose!! Plus, all the websites are replica websites. Very hard to market that with search engines in my opinion. But if you go through with it, let me know how it goes and best of luck to you.

IT'S A SCAM. THE GET YOUR CHECKING OR CREDIT CARD ACCOUNT NUMBER TO CHARGE THE $9.99 SHIPPING FEE TO, THEN YOU'RE STUCK WITH 5 MONTHLY DRAFTS OF $69.99. AFTER THAT 5 MONTHS THEY DRAFT $59.85 FOR THE SERVER SERVICE. WE HAVE CANCELED THE SERVICE 3 TIMES AND THEY CONTINUE TO DRAFT THE $59.85. THE MANAGER GEORGE WHITE IS A BIG CHICKEN AND WON'T EVEN ANSWER THE PHONE. WE HAVE TALKED TO OSCAR, ABE AND GEORGE THAT ANSWER THE PHONE WHEN YOU CALL 1-877-773-3305. IF YOU HAVE SOME FREE TIME, CALL THE NUMBER AND TELL THEM TO SHOVE THEIR "FREE CD BECAUSE AMY KOONTZ SAVED YOU FROM BUYING INTO THEIR SCAM. I AM SEEKING LEGAL ACTION TO GET MY MONEY BACK AND I WOULD SUGGEST ANYONE ELSE WHO HAS HAD THE SAME PROBLEM DO SO AS WELL. FOR THOSE OF YOU ON HERE SINGING THEIR PRAISES...................SAVE IT! IT'S THE BIGGEST SCAM AND I HOPE THE WHOLE OPERATION GETS SHUT DOWN

I am also a dumby that fell for this crap from internet speedway. I have given dollar after hard earned dollar in this investment and still no sale at all after 9 moths of bull. I have paid a professional optimization company to do seo for me and it has failed. I can't win at all. This crap is not worth the money i spent(over $2000) in all for all involed and it is just like the other site listed above. Crap products and prices that are smashed by anyone else.

[Link removed - Admin] look at this site. I am an IT professional and i can not even manipulate this site because it is not html only asp and sql. script after script makes seo impossible. DO NOT WASTE A RED CENT. I WOULD SERIOUSLY LOOK AT OTHER SOLUTIONS.

A small suggestion:

If you hear their ad on the radio, email the station and let them know that the CD isn't free since it costs $10 to have it shipped. Hopefully, the station will stop running the ad.

Aussie, I was just getting ready to purchase the Gold Package, when I came across this site. It seems as though you are the only one who has been successful using Internet Speedway, so I'm a bit nervous now! Can you tell me what your website is so I can maybe take a look? Do you sell your own merchandise or items from Wharehouse Direct? Any help would be greatly appreciated, for I am a stay at home mom who really needs the extra income, and doesn't have the extra money to waste. Thank you, Sarah

ok, i just PURCHASED the FREE cd from internet speedway today. going buy what most people are saying (and my own belief as well) it is a waste of time, but i am going to wait for it to arrive, try it for about two weeks and if it sucks, then i'll send it back. to me, if they cancel me with no problems, then it's no a scam, only a waste of my time. i'll update yopu all as of the results i come up with.

If you are within your 30 days you can cancel at www.discontinue.ispeedway.com

Your RMA # is your activation code.

I also called and when I finally got through, did not have any problems with cancelling. Just return in the same box to the Denver, CO address. Was informed that most complaints were a result of cancelling after the 30 days.
