i need to find a work-from-home job for my wife. this job needs to produce $200-$300 per week(if possible, but anything would help). it has to be something that can be left alone and resumed at leisure, due to the fact that she will be taking care of our 1 year old while working. i think that would rule out an over the phone cutomer service job, and she doesnt have the required experience for most of the clerical sites ive seen. any help or suggestions would be appreciated. thanks.

Hi Joe,

I can't believe no one has offered you any suggestions yet! I am with Coastal Vacations, which basically offers lifetime travel memberships which allow the member to travel at steeply discounted prices. It is a very attractive package for those interested in travel. I use a professional call center to take my calls and do all of the selling for me, so for your wife, that would be helpful. What you would need to do is advertise, and there are many different ways to do this. You are just getting people to call in through advertising. If you want more information, please email me your phone number and I can call you to go over some details. It is certainly a successful business model that anyone could do, even part time, but I would have to find out more about you and what you are looking for to see if it would be a good fit.

Good luck!
Noreen

Her best bet will probably be something she can do on her own time and at her own schedule. Freelance writing, blogging, affiliate marketing, ebay, etc. There are a lot of options but it will be important that she chooses something she will enjoy and stick with.

She can apply for freelance writing or forum posting jobs, the timings are flexible. Transcription jobs usually have a specified TAT.

Hey Joe,

The internet is just full of opportunities for your wife. The key again again is for her to find something that she has the passion to do as others are mentioning. For a quick start at $2-300.00 per week, try clearing out your attic or garage and selling items of no value to you on E-Bay. It only takes a camara, and a little bit of time each day. This is a great way of generating some quick cash. On a more permanent basis, you can look at many of the forums for ideas. Most of the members have some sort of link below their posts tieing to a business. $2-300.00 per week should not be hard to
achieve, there are many programs out there that can put thousands in your pocket each month. Please be prepared that if she is looking for a business, there will generally be a cost associated with startup.

all the best

I would suggest your wife put together a simple resume' to begin with. Even if she doesn't have the exact skill set an employer is looking for, a simple resume' can go a long way in showing organizational skills, "social" skills that can be used as customer service, also highlighting any and all computer skills she has. Many work at home positions are for simple clerical jobs such as answering emails, checking voicemail for people, mailing out advertisements for businesses or various other tasks that you don't need much experience in.

Joe

Your wife would be best making a list of all her interests and then deciding how much she had available to start her own business whether on the internet or offline.

Everybody has a talent for something, it is just a case of accepting this fact and deciding to turn it into an income. If she decides on an offline business, then you should be able to find start up agencies to help with professional advice.

If she wants an online business, she has to take into account that it could be months before she makes a living online, rather than the much shorter time indicated by many others. If you are willing to wait for a few weeks for an income from her new venture, then you will see a gradual increase to eventual full time salary. There is a lot of money to be made online but the cost involved is time in learning.

Writing at hubpages.com will allow you to write short articles about items and promote those items using amazon links. When someone clicks on the amazon link and buys any item you get a commission. Hubpages also has adsense and ebay affiliate links as well.

Finding an online J.O.B. that will do that for you can be tough, particularly starting out for beginners. Unfortunately many approach online opportunities that way and put themselves in a bind because the person doesn't understand that is not the way to success. The exception is that you have a good amount of capital to invest in marketing for your business, but most don't have that to start, let alone experience in where and how to advertise their business.

More people looking for a way to make money from home should probably looking into trading the financial markets. There are many sources and methods because of technology that allow for success starting with a small amount of money and not several thousand.

Also when working from home always look into diversifying your income strategies. Especially with online business, things change fast online so you don't want to be locked into just one thing.

Try the writing and reviewing jobs. Reviews can be of anything, be it a movie seen or a book read. It can also be of products tried for your baby or herself. You can also review on sites that you had experienced online or places at your neighbourhood.

ebay Selling things out of the house is relatively simple, but she has to go to the post office often.

Content Writing Stay at home. Some sites pay weekly for articles that to be written. Anywhere from $3/article to $10/article. Visit http://freelancehomewriter.blogspot.com for extensive reviews of the good sites.

Squidoo Completely stay at home, but requires her to learn basic HTML and some affiliate marketing. Opportunities to earn on a low budget is pretty good but will take time to build up.

Affiliate is the way to go - Find a good one and she can receive residual income. Basic computer, internet, and html skills are required though. But these can be learned quickly. Some upstream may provides training.

Good luck!

Make sure you find a company that offers great training and support, also something that she is passionate in doing, this will make a big difference in being successful. Working at home is so wonderful if you have a passion for what you are doing.
