Welcome dsochia!

And right off the bat, let me assure you that although many of us are making money from home, NONE of it happened overnight for us and neither did we just rolling in the dough even after several months.

It is something that takes some time, regardless if you do surveys, or affiliate marketing, or work for LiveOps...everything has a learning curve and it just depends what interests you have and what direction you decide to go with.

Some ways to make money are free and most of the time when you come across stuff wanting money - it is for a program or training tool to help you get started - be very careful what you buy so you won't end up frustrated and broke!

I wish you much success and please take time to read through some of the postings on the forum here and also don't be afraid to ask questions.

Some of the folks that asked a lot of very specific questions a few months ago are now making money... but they also had to do research... so have fun!

Been working online successfully for 3 years. Never bothers with surveys, save to test them once. I suppose some people are making some good money from them but they are more time consuming that worth imo.

Much, much better opportunity and means to make money online and working from home.

I notice all your sites are selling product...for the surveys, would you say express paid surveys would be about the best investment you can make...my concern is you pay for this product and there isn't any surveys to be taken that are in the $20.00 range..am I wrong.

I work from without doing surveys.

Most people on this forum are against surveys. There is little payout for your efforts.

Before you do ANYTHING. Do yourself a favor by making a commitment to stick with it to make it work. (if that's what you want)

Try looking into MLM or Affiliate Marketing. They are both good ways to get started with a home business.

I have not worked with surveys either.

It does appear that many feel this is a waste of time.

The thing to consider here is within any method, there could be golden nuggets, legitimate programs that do work.

I had a friend who I was assisting within Wealthy Affiliate University ask me to have a look at a program/opportunity.

It just did not sound good...I suppose because there are so many scams out there. Too good to be true...qnd so on.

After three attempts, I decided to check this out, so I could honestly and gently guide her away from this plan, spare her from wasting time.

So, off to the site I went and was pleasantly surprised.
Now, I am knee deep into this program, that took a month to for me to even consider it.

Also, you get out what you put into it.

There are other aspects of success, being attitude and belief.

Just as an example. I will use a free example here:

I have not heard one negative comment on the Thirty Day Challenge. Actually it is one of the best IM decisions I have made, to participate every August.

However, if someone was seeking my advice, and was skeptical about the program, I would advise it was probably not the opportunity for them, as it would not "work" for them from their negative stance.

Same with WA, or any other opportunities.

If you can try surveys with little to no investment, maybe you should give it a try.

It could be a learning opportunity.

Remember to run a scam check too!

And have fun in any case!

Victoria

hello dsochia,

I have personally have tried surveys and it was not for me, it just seemed like it took so much time and after you were done with the survey, you dont qualify. So I dont waste my time, but there are some that say it has worked for them. I currently work for liveops, and I have a labella baskets website. I am checking into other things to have variety. But I say to you take your time, dont get overwhelmed with anything and choose what will be best for you.
