Hi Vishal,

Thank you so much to reply me so soon. Yes I understand the differences between these two. Now I prefer to have a home job than a business. During my wait for my Permanent Resident, I been surfing a lot on line (longer than office hours oxo) . The pro is I have master a few 'skills' , the con is I been scammed few time too. From the so call Affiliate , web master, home business solution and so on......... . I have lost most of my saving to buy stuff from them. I will really appreciate you can introduce any reliable website that are for Canadian or international for me and the rest . Thank you again .

I have so many friends that would love to make money online like I do, but they have the 'job' mentality... wanting to write, edit or proofread for 'pay by the piece' and that kind of work is plentiful..... IF you are willing to work for about $2 an hour.

Serious.

That is what those guys are making.

If you are a great writer then something like SBI is a great way for you to go as ALL that writing can pay you for years to come instead of a one shot deal.

Yes it takes awhile to get the money ball rolling with SBI but once it starts, and you follow the simple pattern of adding content to your website, it will never stop. When I made my first $30 a month with my SBI site, I was elated as now it was paying for itself... a year the next year it more than doubled and quadrupled the next .. and it keeps growing, so you get the picture.

Exciting.

Hey has anyone worked for trc typing? they are based in altamonte springs, FL. Its a data entry site. You have to pay a start up fee but you get access to your first assignment as soon as you sign up. Does anyone know if this Is legit?
Thanks, I really want to find a data entry job i can do at home.

Before you sign on to any work from home program you should Google the name of the program and then see what others are saying about it.
If there is bad or good said on the net then you should be able to find it. This forum is one place where yo could ask about the particular program you are interested in. Probably someone on here has done it already.

I will also advise other than doing more research about it, you should also check out with bbb to see any complaint history or so to be more secure and certain about the company . (www.bbb.org)

I work as a google rater for Lionbridge. I cannot disclose details, but the pay is excellent and the hours are very convenient.
I also do courthouse research, mystery shopping, merchandising, and own a website. Working at home has been a blessing for me.

Vishal P. Rao:
You have to first decide whether you need a home job or a home business opportunity. Both are poles apart and many mistake them to be same. A home job enables you to work from home just like you would at a day job and get a fixed salary. A home business opportunity doesn't have a fixed salary and your income is directly proportional to the effort you put into your business.

Thanks for the timely reminder.

Many seekers of home jobs have been hijacked to home business opportunity. For example, a person looking for data entry lands on a website which says ... by paying a $XX amount, one can operate one's home business from data entry ... .

Do be careful if you need to pay to do a job ... my mother gave me this advice some twenty years ago, and I think it applies to home jobs too.

Bye

Basically work at home jobs are selling others products online
and get commissions from each sell

Does anyone here have any experience dealing with a company called Doba? It's a drop ship company that provides a web site for on line shopping and charges a monthly hosting fee as well a recurring charge to be connected to the product shipping companies.

Has anyone had any success with this?

rickk44, I have used doba, I was introduced to them by hostgator, I like the idea, dabbled a bit, its just tedious. It's difficult to navigate the site sometimes, you have to take a product and compare on eBay what its being sold for, that's what I did. Tons of work but at least you will see what has a decent profit margin and what does not. BigCommerce has a great online store that's easy to set up and use with the doba products also.

I believe DOBA is a company that has lists for dropshippers. Please do your research on this one as I had, and found their products to be slightly over priced. You have to be careful with membership sites esp. ones that say they compiled the best of everything.

There are many ways to find dropshippers and wholesalers. Just start googling on key words of products you would like to find.

You have to have a little patience, but they are there.

Thanks for the advice guys. I'm new to the work at home world. I do as much research as I can but it's a little frustrating at times trying to sort through all the shams and nickle and dime stuff. I was actually speaking with someone from Doba and found the sales pitch raised lots of alarm bells so thats not the place for me.

I'm sorry but I'm not aware of any. Due to quality constraints, etc. I doubt there'll any of those.
