First of all, this is an impressive forum. I am impressed with the amount of people actually in home businesses rather than spamming about home businesses.
I recently began a home business with Southern Living at HOME. I am married and a mother of a beautiful baby boy. What I really love about this company is that it is centered around women coming together, having fun, and socializing. The products are gorgeous and amazing quality.
I am trying to figure out how to convey this message to others like myself without sounding like I am trying to sell them. Are there any women in this forum that are involved in similar companies? What kind of techniques do you use to approach potential customers/hostesses or consultants? Have you found success on the internet?

Welcome Jamie! I am not personally involved in something of this sort, but there are a ton of moms over at cafemom.com that are in stuff like this and also LOOKING for this type of thing.
Good luck and best wishes in your venture.

Attraction Marketing!
Is great for attracting people into your business without coming across as you are "selling" it.
However it is primarily an online approach.
For offline you could try Dani Johnson training.

You can get some good free stuff from her without buying anything. just make an account.
Good luck.
