Hello. I just joined this forum and have liked everything I've been reading so far. I desperately need to work from home but I can't seem to find any 'work from home' ads that look legit. Can you please provide me with some names of companies that will actually make me money from home and not take my money instead. Thanks so much!

If you find something that interest you, post it on the forum.
And ask the members of the forum to give some advice.

I am sure they are pleased to help you with that.

First of all wanting to work from home desperately isn't the correct mindset to be in when looking to get started in this industry. Also in case you were wondering, a majority of ads that promise data entry work from home or paid surveys are simple scams big companies use to collect your details and try to market to you over time.

There are 3 routes you can take when getting started in this industry, Affiliate marketing, Direct sales or MLM. But it's recommended that before jumping into any business opportunity or falling for any work from home advertisement, you want to take the time to search the Internet and network with like minded individuals who are already successful in the industry to basically see if they are willing to take you up as their student and teach you how to establish your own online business and most importantly how to market your online business effectively on the Internet.

Well over 90% of all work from home programs are scams. Be careful where you step. I have lost thousands on scams. You have to decide what is best for you. What do you like. do you like working with people? or do you want to just work strictley from your computer? I honestly believe that Affiliate marketing is the best way to make money online. As I said, its all about what you as a person want to do.

Just remember that anything that promises quick riches is usually a scam.

Oh, and don't try online gambling. Ever.

When considering any home based business opportunity, you have to do your due diligence. I also don't believe that most work at home businesses are scams. You pick a company to work with and then you have to really work and apply the strategies taught in order to see results. There's definitely success to be had working your own home business.

Watch out for those stuffing envelope gigs. My wife just got one in the mail. I've had bad experiences with these. Anyone else have any luck?

I wouldn't say that 90% are scams. More like 75%. Many are very good. I'm in a great situation right now and wouldn't change it for something else. My mentor has made a lot of money in a few different areas and has brought my team along as well. Very successful.

I have a website that teaches people how to make money online. I earn a 6 figure income doing a variety of things mostly centered around affiliate marketing and information products.

Never invest more than you can afford to lose, expect to make up with an investment of time what you lack in money, you will need skills to make money online, and if you do not master at least one form of traffic generation you will never make any money selling anything online.

You may as well find an internet job if you can and get paid by the hour. Tjobs.com is one place to look

Feel free to check out my signature. A new business opportunity that launched last October which is very cost effective and gives you the opportunity to create that income you desire for a fraction of the price compared to those opportunities that cost a thousand dollars or more to join.

1. affilate - pays out by commission
2. data entry - like the lists above
3. mlm - multi level marketing
4. and service - try check out mine.
5. auction - like ebay

All of the programs which show you how to be an affiliate are legal for the most part.
These are also the businesses which will allow you to not do much work at all.

Beicg an affiliates is the BEST JOB IN THE WORLD!

I agree - I had done several mlm businesses in the past and thought they were scams but now with the training I have received in the past year, I realize that 95% of the reason people fail in mlm and network marketing is due to lack of training and support.

I'd recommend not paying for a program where they are promising that you are going to start earning money, the majority of those programs are scam, so all you do is lose money.

By spending a few dollars on your own, buy some domain names, and set up some websites or blogs whereby you can earn money via affiliate programs, adsense, even selling your own products (ebooks and the like).

You "reap what you sow", so plan on working hard. If you want to really and truely earn money and WAH, don't treat it as a hobby.

I am going to agree with most of the people on this thread. Its not that most work from opportunities are scams, its more like people don't understand how to work them.

It doesn't necessarily come easy though. Its more about how strong you desire to make money from home and how much time and effort you are willing to learn the ropes!

Best of luck,

Laura

I heartily agree - but oh, it's worth all the effort it takes to 'learn the ropes'!
